"Alright, I owe you all an explanation, however do not interrupt me until I am finished" I look around at all of them, they all nod to me.
"So as you all know I was turned 1,000 years ago, and I was among the first turned for the wars. Well after about 5 years there were lots of bitten wolfs, and some of the older ones had started to create rebellions against the Alphas. So the Alphas contacted a witch to try and use magic to prevent this, unfortunately for me at that time I was very loyal to my creator, Elijah Sharp. He used me as an experiment and after much trial and error the witch developed a curse that would bring harm to us if we harmed an Alpha. The Alphas that turned the bitten would then decide if the attack was justified and release the curse or sentence them to death for attacking their masters. I was sent on many missions to kill enemy Alphas for Elijah and so have gotten accustomed to the spells affects, doesn't make it any less painful mind you. I searched for a long time to find a way to break it along with 201 but we can't find a solution. I never told any of you because to be honest it was not important, I did not plan to harm many Alphas unless I have to." I look around the room they all look deep in thought, 201 looks at me with understanding.
"Okay, I understand what you were thinking, but how can you say it's not important. Anything that would bring you harm is important to us, you are our queen and our friend. Every person in this community was saved by you and all of us in this room where personally dragged out of our own hells by you. You may not know this but to us this community and you are our family and we protect our family" Lestat looks directly at me and I see hurt in his eyes, which is rare to see from him. Everyone nods and agrees with him, another rare sight.
"My queen can you tell me the name of the witch that created the curse?" Madock questions me.
"I believe her name was Cassandra Serpentine" I look at Madock, he suddenly stands in shock.
"WHAT ?" everyone looks confused at him.
"Do you know this witch Madock ?" Flora asks him, he slowly sits down lost in thought.
"Yes she is the leader of a Dark Coven called the Red Serpent. She and her coven have been marked for death by the elders. They practise blood magic and that is one of our greatest sins. This is good news for us though." he starts smiling at me.
"Good news, how is that good news ?" Delphyne looks stunned.
"Because Blood magic is weak against my magic"
"And what magic would that be" Lestat asks him with some doubt
"Soul Magic" Madock proudly announced.
"Okay everyone slow down, as the only person not brought up with the knowledge on magic could someone explain what the heck Madock is on about" David questions us all.
"Okay a little history lesson for the human, most witch's/warlocks power comes from one of the elements Fire,Water, Earth and Air these are the common elements there is also Dark and Light and if you combine the elements you can create new magic. Unfortunately witch's/warlocks are power hungry and long ago a coven discovered blood magic, this magic did not draw power from the elements but from the sacrifice of blood. This magic went against nature and the elders banned it, however how could they ban something they could not fight. That's when an elder asked the gods for a solution and this elder was bestowed the knowledge to harness soul magic. Soul magic is the most powerful form of magic as its strength is based on the power of the soul of the user, there are no limits or costs for using it. The elder obviously destroyed the coven and anyone who was caught using blood magic would be destroyed by the user." Madock looks at David to make sure he was following.
" I understand that, but if this magic is so powerful how come all witch's and warlock don't use it then?" David has a point there, personally I have never heard of this magic.
"The gods did not want the magic to be used to destroy the natural order, so they made it so only one witch or warlock could ever posses the magic, and its through random selection as too which person is gifted with it. Unfortunately for me I was chosen and when it was discovered the elders kept me prisoner as their weapon to use when needed, long story short I escaped and was found by the queen and allowed my freedom here away from the elders" Madock looks at me and smiles, I smile back at him remembering the boy I found that day.
"This is good news, could you break the curse then?" Lestat asks.
"I will need time to examine it but it is possible for me, my queen I vow to free you from this" I nod to him.
"It's not just me but 201 and all the bitten from the war needs this lifted as well"
"Of course I will see to it" Madock bow to me.
"Alright with that sorted lets get onto business, what are we going to do about the Alpha King?"
