A few minutes before Keith woke up, three people were discussing in a room.
"Hand me his file again," Daniel said, "I mean he's a model citizen, no criminal record, good grades in college and in the footage those things were attacking him, so why are we treating him like some sort of threat,"
"No, Beverly is right, with what happened to him, he could still be the one responsible for this and if he isn't, he could still turn on us, just because he has powers doesn't automatically make him a good person, " Amanda said.
"Not everyone is as they seem, we treat this as professionally as possible as per now, we still don't know who or what we're dealing with," Beverly said, "and Frank is counting on me, I can't let him down,"
"He's waking up, time for the interrogation," Amanda said leaving the room.

"And that is the real story this time?" Beverly asked.
"Yes," Keith replied.
Beverly looked at Daniel who gave her a nod, "He isn't lying," he said.
"Well then, Amanda, get him out of those restraints.... err I mean one of them," Beverly said referencing to the restraint Keith broke.
"Oh, sorry about that," Keith said as Amanda removed the restraint.
"No problem, it was just really expensive and one of a kind but it's okay," Daniel said sarcastically.
"Stop tormenting the man and take him out of here," Beverly said, "we'll replace it,"
As Daniel led Keith out of the room Beverly stopped him and blinked a number of times in a pattern and he nodded, she had said "keep an eye on him," in Morse code.
"So what now? " Keith said walking down a long hallway with multiple doors to the sides.
"Well now, we get you home but you have to come back tomorrow for...." is all Daniel could say before a large growl escaped Keith's stomach, he felt a lot hungrier than he did before.
"I'm sorry, would you happen to have a cafeteria that we could go to, like right now," Keith said holding his stomach, he felt like his stomach was burning.
"Uhh, yeah, but don't you wanna go home first,"
"No, food first please,"
"Okay, I guess anyone would be really hungry after spending seven hours and thirty minutes without eating anything," Daniel said changing their direction and walking through one of the doors to the side.
"No, it's not that it's actually... Wait! DID YOU JUST SAY SEVEN HOURS?!" Keith said shocked.
"Oh! Yeah, I almost forgot to tell you, you were knocked out for seven hours and thirty minutes," Daniel said.
"WHAT! "
"Yeah, we needed time to run some tests on you, so we purposely knocked you out for an indefinite period of time and woke you up when we were done,"
"YOU RAN TESTS ON ME!" Keith thought.
"Calm down will you, it was just to see the ranges of your powers, of course we will have to run more tests tomorrow because we need you to physically display some of it, but yeah we now know the basics; your enhanced strength, speed, hearing and sight,"
"Why couldn't you have just asked,"
"Well for one some of the experiments were very gruesome and painful," Daniel joked.
Keith's eyes widened in horror and anger.
"I'm kidding, none of them were bad, well at least not that bad," Daniel said, "And we had to, just incase you ended up being a threat,"
"And how sure are you now that I'm not a threat,"
"Well, they aren't," Daniel said pointing back in the direction they came from, "but I know you're not a threat," he said as they walked into the cafeteria and headed up to the counter.
"How would you know,"
"I worked hard so that I could learn how to read people, and I could tell from the moment you started talking, you are not a threat,"
"I barely said anything when I started talking and you were able to just tell I wasn't a threat, what made you work so hard to learn that,"
"Everyone has a past," is all Daniel said as they reached the counter, "I'll have the fries, and you and don't worry I'll pay,"
Keith then got two packs of fries, three chicken sandwiches, a salad and two cans of soda.
"Hmm, you must have really been hungry," Daniel said as he watched Keith devour his food, 'Mmm' was the only response he heard.
After Keith finished eating they got up and were heading out of the building when Daniel said, "Before you go we need to do something about your shirt,"
He took a turn into a room and said, "Wait out here,"
As Keith waited for Daniel he spoke to Damian, "You've been awfully quiet," he said.
"Why, did you miss me," Damian said, "if you must know I was just thinking about something,"
"What?"
"I'll tell you when the time is right,"
Keith was about to say something back when Daniel came back holding a jacket, "Wear this," he said.
As they headed out of the building Keith saw that they were in the center of the city in a large building which looked to be four stories high, there was another building next to the it of similar shape and to the front of the buildings there was a stone sign with the abbreviation 'C.I.A' written on it.
"And I suppose you will want this back," Daniel said handing Keith his phone.
"Of course you took my phone" Keith said as he took his phone back.
"Tomorrow you have to come back for more tests," Daniel said,
"I don't have a choice, do I? " Keith asked.
"Not unless you wanna be kidnapped again," Daniel joked.
Keith remembered how Daniel had said they tested him while he was unconscious and shuddered.
"I'll be here, see you tomorrow then" he said as he walked away.
After Keith walked away, Daniel took his phone out and called Beverly, "The chip has been successfully planted,"
Keith took a cab back to his apartment but as he stepped in, he found the door unlocked.
As he opened the door, he saw Cole sitting on the couch, his head was facing down, he held a bottle in one hand and his phone in the other.
"Cole!" Keith shouted, as he did so Cole looked up towards him, tears could be seen streaming down his face.
"What happened, where have you been!?" Keith said.
