Experimental animals are categorized as disposable and non-disposable. Disposable is easy to understand, such as during anatomy classes where the animal is brought to the operating table for dissection and observation, and after the dissection, the animal has no other purpose and is humanely disposed of. Most experiments use non-disposable experimental animals. After conducting experimental operations on such animals, they are placed back in a cage for continued feeding and observation. When the time comes, they are dissected to observe and derive experimental results, then humanely disposed of to provide data support for experimental papers.
A few students stood in front of the cage observing the mice bred by Student Duan, all speculating on what kind of experiment Student Duan was conducting.
"Seems like there's nothing unusual," Student Wei said, furrowing his brow.
