Aunt Min walked in, calling out to her old friend.
"Comrade Xiao Min." Sun Rongfang leapt up from her chair and rushed over, embracing the old friend entering through the door.
The two women, who hadn't seen each other for years and were nearing old age, looked into each other's eyes, tearful, tears streaming down.
"I thought I wouldn't see you again before I died," Aunt Min said emotionally, crying.
"I heard from my daughter that you were seriously ill and near death. That night, I couldn't sleep, thinking about getting a train ticket the next day to come see you," Sun Rongfang cried as she spoke.
"Your daughter is good, just like you. You saved me back then. Many years later, your daughter became a doctor and saved my life again. You both are my lifesavers." Aunt Min held Sun Rongfang's hand tightly, "Xie Xie, I'm very, very grateful to you two, mother and daughter."
"Why thank? She's a doctor, saving lives is her duty," Sun Rongfang replied.
