[] The Lost Land of Pansen
Hidden within the colossal and enigmatic Tree of Life lies the land of Pansen. The tree is so vast and mysterious that even the people who dwell around it have yet to uncover its many secrets. To them, it is simply the lifeblood of the region.
Only one known person has ever entered Pansen and never returned, officially deemed missing. The tree grants its wisdom only to those able to commune with nature. Most who ventured inside were later discovered dead—disappearances are far less common than deaths.
Within the tree, Pansen manifests as a personal dreamscape, luring intruders into comfort while binding them in quiet enslavement.
Survivors remain within its bounds, but few in number. Following a great war, hundreds of thousands perished, leaving the land desolate and untended.
[] Outer World
The overworld is extraordinary, filled with enhanced beings. While special powers exist, they are uncommon among the majority.
This world exists on a planet beyond Earth, governed by an entirely different order.
Its cities, inhabitants, and creatures are unlike anything known elsewhere.
The terrain shifts from plains of grass to frozen snowfields, with flora and patterns changing by region.
Diverse systems of power rule numerous territories.
Schools, laws, and even the flow of time itself function differently here. This planet is called Nova 1C.
[] Power Scales
Rank 1: Minor manipulations, such as moving small amounts of water or gradually growing plants.
Rank 2: Greater control, such as producing strong gusts or forming small tidal waves.
Rank 3: Powers surpassing the first two ranks combined—instantaneous plant growth, levitation of objects, and people.
Rank 4: Transitional strength; shapeshifting or influencing the will of animals and humans.
Rank 5: Elite powers—summoning weapons, cloning, gravity manipulation, and spatial warping.
Rank 6: Mastery of combined ranks—abilities like energy projection, flight, superhuman strength, and speed.
Rank 7: The ultimate tier—invincibility, solar fusion, and catastrophic control of existing abilities (e.g., reshaping landscapes).
Example: Sarah raises a stone castle from the earth and shatters mountains in a single strike.
[] Yang Abilities
Holding Yang grants wisdom and profound understanding. Passive gifts include healing the gravely wounded, reviving plants or people near death, conjuring companions, communicating with nature, and sensing spiritual energies. Its destructive force reaches beyond Rank 7, surpassing imagination.
Yang is revered as a sacred offering to the holy.
Many perished under its overwhelming might, powerless regardless of their rank.
The first wielder was Yanu Wenadow.
Only its opposite—Yin—can withstand it.
[] Yin Abilities
Yin embodies aggression, surfacing through destructive expression. Unlike Yang, it has only one passive trait: serving the wielder's passions and desires.
Its destructive powers are limitless: bending time, immense physical strength, overwhelming energy output, and beyond.
Yin is regarded as one's eventual downfall.
None can withstand its force.
Users cannot wield multiple abilities simultaneously without severe cost.
The first wielder was Katan Lunar.
Its only counterbalance is Yang.
[] How Abilities Function (Crash Course)
Powers cannot exist within the body directly—they must be channeled through a medium.
A medium can be anything: a sword, a pillow, or even a pen.
A medium is unique to its user; no one else may wield it.
Users can summon their medium at will.
Every power has an energy cap, fueled by stamina. Overexertion leads to exhaustion.
Example: Splitting a mountain in half could leave a user completely drained without rest and sustenance.
