At that time, Harold sent the circular-shaped key he had found to the Archaeological Department to find out what kind of key it was. Not only that, Harold also wanted to uncover the complete history of Black Fox.
He knew that Lorentz, Victor, and Cyrus had brought the Black Fox organization into their respective countries. But apart from them, there were many other nations where Black Fox existed, led by powerful figures similar to Lorentz, Victor, and Cyrus. Harold wanted to find out who the main leader was—the one who had originally started Black Fox.
To learn more, Harold and his team decided to visit a place called WCRC — World Criminal Records Centre, the largest archive in the world that contained detailed information about major criminals, mafia dons, and notorious gangsters. Using Lorentz's influence, Harold and his team gained entry to the facility.
Inside, there were countless records stored. The team began their search, but after several hours, they couldn't find anything useful. Feeling tired, Harold sat down and took a short break. Just then, one of the staff members bringing tea slipped and fell, causing several books from a nearby shelf to topple to the floor.
As the books scattered, Harold noticed the title "The Ghosts of 1901." Soon, more books fell — "The Ghosts of 1902," "The Ghosts of 1903," and so on. There were many volumes in that series. Intrigued, Harold and his team picked them up and began to read, but the language inside was ancient and undecipherable.
Even though they couldn't understand the text, they realized something — the name Black Fox had been mentioned repeatedly from 1901 all the way up to 2026. When Harold had taken over this case, it was already 1986, meaning that for decades, officers from various countries had been dealing with this same mysterious organization.
If so many officers in just three countries had struggled with Black Fox, Harold wondered how many other nations had suffered under its influence. They asked the WCRC staff who had registered the centre's earliest records from 1901, hoping that person might know something about the unknown language.
After searching, they found the man's name — Patrick, who was living in Hong Kong. They gave Harold Patrick's address, and the research team sent the mysterious books for further study.
Harold then travelled to Hong Kong with his team to find Patrick. But locating him wasn't easy. One evening, Harold witnessed an old man being threatened at knifepoint by a robber. As Harold stepped in to stop it, a masked stranger suddenly appeared and defeated the robber with extraordinary skill.
Harold was stunned by the man's incredible fighting ability and secretly followed him. When the masked man finally removed his mask, Harold realized the shocking truth — that man was Patrick himself.
