Bai Yi Yang first destination is a huge homeware shop. They have branches all over the country and the one in City Nan is quite big too. There are quite a few things that Bai Yi Yang need to buy for the new house, especially the kitchen.
The homeware shop is not that far, it is situated at the side of the road with their own parking space. The highlight of the building is the huge homeware shop but at the side, there are small shops selling food and other thing. Each shop is not big, only about 10 meter square. As for the homeware shop, the entrance is already big and there are 2 floors.
Zhang Yong didn't fall too far behind them, he also arrived and took the parking next to them.
"Let's go!" Bai Yi Fang said excitedly and pull Zhang Yong's hand to walk in front.
"Do you have a list? I can't remember everything that we need to buy." Zhou Zhu Yao said to Bai Yi Yang. Bai Yi Ling is walking behind Bai Yi Yang and Zhou Zhu Yao and Bai Yi Chen is at the most back with Bai Yi Mo.
Since pets may not be allowed to let loose, Bai Yi Ling was carrying TongTong inside a pet backpack. TongTong is lying lazily inside the bag.
"I can remember them all. We can just walk from one end to one end, when we saw the thing, we won't forget to take them." Bai Yi Yang said. Anyway, they are not in a rush, they can take their time shopping.
Zhang Yong naturally took a trolley and ask Bai Yi Fang if she want to sit on the children chair. Bai Yi Fang happily nod and ask Zhang Yong to lift her up.
"Can we take one more trolley?" Bai Yi Mo ask Bai Yi Yang with pitiful gaze.
"Alright, take one more. There will be many things to buy." Bai Yi Yang said and Bai Yi Chen do so. Bai Yi Mo naturally ride on this one. Bai Yi Ling roll her eyes at the two childishness.
They first start from an isle and passed by the electrical appliance but they don't need any of them. But still, they still look around the electrical grill for on the spot barbecue. In the end they didn't buy them though.
Bai Yi Yang start choosing when they arrive at the plates and bowls area. Bai Yi Yang choose 12 serving plates, 6 of them have the same shallow oval shape and the other 6 have different shapes and size. Anyway, there will be serving plates for dry food, food with gravy and even soup. So, she choose based on this. They have the same grey colour. They suit the ultra modern look of their house.
Done with that, Bai Yi Yang choose 15 regular size plates of grey colour, 15 small plates and 15 small size bowls for soup. All of them are round in shape and their edge is raised, unlike the usually used plate that just curve up. The edge is higher for the bowl. When they are stacked together, they look like cylinder.
Have to say, this shop is following the trend since they are also selling products like this.
"Isn't that too little?" Bai Yi Chen ask. There is only 15 of everything, what if they got more guests coming over.
"You think so ge?" Bai Yi Yang ask. She think for a while and wonder if they may invite many people in the future.
"Didn't you say that you wanted to invite our two older sisters for New Year dinner next year? We can just buy more in advance." Bai Yi Chen said.
"Oh right. I almost forgot about that." Bai Yi Yang come to a realisation. She quickly recalled the two's family members. Bai Yu Jing have 3 children and Bai Yu Wan have 2 children. Just in case everyone come, they will surely need more than 15 set of plates and bowl.
In the end, Bai Yi Yang add 5 more of everything, in total, there are 20 sets.
They walk further and choose spoon, soup spoon, fork, chopsticks, fruits fork, teaspoon and table knife.
While they are at this isle, Bai Yi Yang also choose a few things like wooden and steel spatula, ladle, knives, big knife, peeling knife, rolling pin, egg whisk, grater, rice ladle and so on. In no time, the first trolley is almost full with all the stuff.
Then, they choose some drinking glass, also 20 of them. Then, good looking mugs with handle, Bai Yi Yang only took about 10 of these and choose a similar look as the plates and bowls, it's just that she mix and match their house 4 theme colours.
"Jie, the pots and pans are over here." Bai Yi Mo who is with Bai Yi Chen called over.
Bai Yi Yang quickly finished up at this area and come over. Like the one at home, she also choose on of everything. It's just that she won't be able to use wok with the electric stove so she just choose a few that is suitable for electric stove. Of course not to forget the trays to be used in the oven.
"Are you cooking for tonight dinner?" Zhang Yong ask as Bai Yi Yang is choosing the pots and pans.
"En. Is there anything you want to eat in particular? I can get the ingredients later." Bai Yi Yang ask before deciding to buy both size of the frying pans.
"I want to eat seafood. If possible, the chilli crab." Zhang Yong said.
"I can make that but do you know any seafood market?" Bai Yi Yang laugh lightly. That's right, chilli crab is delicious too.
"I can always search for it." Zhang Yong grinned and took out his phone. So, as Bai Yi Yang choose more at this isle, he look for the biggest seafood market in City Nan.
Done with pots and pans, Bai Yi Yang got serious with choosing glass containers to organise inside the fridge, then plates and bowls used for preparing cooking ingredients.
She also choose some big transparent jars to store the children snacks later. Most importantly, she don't want to ruin their beautiful kitchen so she choose white, grey or black colour to follow the theme.
Bai Yi Yang finished it up at the kitchen area with dishwasher detergent, table spray, stove cleaning spray and some hand washing soap. They walk around a bit more and buy a few more stuff such as kitchen towels, oil tissue, aluminium foils, disposable containers and transparent plastic wrappers.
Because they bought too much, the staff even volunteer to help them push the trolley near the counter and give them a new one. So, Bai Yi Fang change trolley too.
They head towards other area and Bai Yi Yang choose 2 different towel size, she choose white and grey colour. A fixed amount of 3 towels of each different size in the two smaller bedrooms and 6 towels each for the master bedroom. As for the general bathroom in the living room, Bai Yi Yang just choose a few hand towels with similar colour tone.
As for bed covers and that stuff, they don't need it at all. There is even a spare unused one in each of the rooms, including the mattress cover.
But, when they arrived at the pillow and plushies areas, they are bound to love some of the stuff there, especially the soft and furry one.
"I really want this. They must be comfortable to hug." Bai Yi Fang said. It is a furry black pillow. They are comfortable to touch and she fell in love with it. Even the well behaved Bai Yi Ling is touching a blue cat shape pillow.
So, in the end, except for Bai Yi Yang and Bai Yi Chen, everyone got one that they really like, even Zhou Zhu Yao have one. They decided to bring this pillow and put it in the car since they don't lack pillow at all in the new home.
'Do you want to change your bed at home? If you don't like them, we can buy a new one.' Bai Yi Yang ask TongTong about its bed on their new house. Ru Qing know that the Bai siblings has pets. So, after asking Bai Yi Yang's opinion, she placed a cat tower at a corner in the master bedroom, then a nest for TongTong on one of its tier.
'Host, they are very comfortable. I don't want to change them.' TongTong said. Bai Yi Yang nod and they move on to other area.
There are so many things that was sold in the big warehouse-like shop but most of them, they don't need them so they just look around and didn't put them in the cart.
The price of this place is not expensive. They are in mid tier price so it is very affordable. Zhou Zhu Yao bought some stuff without pressure too. Of course most of the things Bai Yi Yang choose is the pricier one. As people say, the simpler the things look, the pricier they are.
They head to the checkout counter with 3 trolleys. Even though they look quite eye catching with the 3 trolleys filled, the other also at least have 1 trolley with them.
"Moving in?" A young man who looks to be at Zhang Yong's age ask with friendly manner, he have a smile on his face. He is pushing a full trolley too an a young woman followed next to him with a list.
"Yes. There are too many that is lacking at home." Zhang Yong naturally answer back with a smile.
"I know right, it's really not easy in the beginning. Is this your eldest?" The young man said again and gesture at Bai Yi Fang on the trolley. His meaning can't be more clear, he must have thought that Bai Yi Fang is Zhang Yong's daughter.
He thought that Zhang Yong wasn't with the other at the back because the other was chatting with each other and he is still trying to look for a decent seafood market in his phone. Zhang Yong was awkward for a second before turning to look at Bai Yi Yang who is smiling meaningfully.
"Younger sister." Zhang Yong force a smile and answer.
"Oh." The young man seems embarrassed too. He now noticed that the group of people is together.
"Then." Zhang Yong nod at the young man and start arranging their stuff on the counter since the person in front is already paying.
The cashier bid goodbye to the previous customer and greet Zhang Yong.
"Do you have member card? We have different item discount every month and point system for members." The cashier said.
"I don't have one." Zhang Yong said.
"We also don't have it." Bai Yi Yang step forward and said this to the cashier.
"Can we make it now?" Bai Yi Yang ask and the cashier nod. She ask for Bai Yi Yang's ID Card, key in certain information into the system and she said it was done.
"The fee is 30 yuan, I will add it into the bill together with the items. After this, you can get the card at the customer service counter." The cashier said with a smile and Bai Yi Yang said her thanks and help Zhang Yong arranging the stuff to the counter.
There are a lot of items so the cashier called another staff to help her arrange the things, especially the plates and bowls that need to be arranged in boxes.
"Do you do delivery service?" Bai Yi Yang ask as the cashier is scanning the items.
"We do. Miss Bai, would you like our shop to deliver it later?" The cashier ask.
"Yes please." Bai Yi Yang nod. There are so many boxes. All of these can't fit in the car. Even if it fits, it will be uncomfortable.
"Delivery within 20 kilometres is 50 yuan and for the next subsequent kilometre is 10 yuan." The cashier said and gave Bai Yi Yang a different notebook for her two write the address. Bai wrote The Eve address with special instructions to go to the lobby first and meet the front desk. She will immediately make a call to the front desk so they will allow the delivery man into the residential area and access to their front door.
As the stuff is being scanned one by one, Zhou Zhu Yao brought the children outside. Since there are 3 children, Bai Yi Chen followed too after finished arranging the stuff onto the counter. It was only Bai Yi Yang and Zhang Yong left.
"Of course I will appreciate it." Bai Yi Yang grinned. Zhang Yong said that he is free so he can just come over in advance and help them with organising and simple kitchen work.
"I need to return early later. I will stop by The Body Shop for a while then head to G Supermarket. Why don't you help me bring my gege to buy some fresh meat and seafood. That will save a lot of time." Bai Yi Yang suggest. Now is only 12.30 pm but by the time she finished grocery shopping at G Supermarket, it will be at least 3.00 pm.
"I can do that. But why must it be G Supermarket? Can't you just shop at Natural Grocery? Do you dislike my shop?" Zhang Yong frown. Bai Yi Yang laugh aloud to this.
"Natural Grocery is on the other way. There is a G Supermarket on the way back to The Eve." Bai Yi Yang explain. Zhang Yong stop sulking.
"Should I open one close to The Eve? G Supermarket has declared us as rival because they can't get your Bai Mountain supply." Zhang Yong said and contemplate seriously.
In fact, Natural Grocery is just a small franchise, but because of the most sought after Bai Mountain's produce, G Supermarket hold a bit grudge on them.
"That will be great. But I tell you, G Supermarket current location is quite strategic. You need to find a better spot." Bai Yi Yang said and Zhang Yong also nod.
Actually Natural Grocery has a bigger advantage in City Nan because of many factors, one of them is because Zhang family is behind it and the popularity was boosted because they have exclusive right to distribute Bai Mountain high quality produce. But, G Supermarket is taking a firm hold too. If Zhang Yong was to expand Natural Grocery to other city, he wouldn't be confident without his ace card in hand.
Of course, as long as Bai Yi Yang supply to Natural Grocery, he is confident to do well in other cities too.
