I was giving my sister a glass of water when I heard a knock on the door and it was Joel with a folder of document on his hand, talking to me while still focus on the papers.
"Demetri, I heard you were hear I want to ask you some questions about this..."-Joel.
Joel stop mid sentence when he saw my sister awake and sitting, the way his face change expression from utter disbelief to questioning what is happening I cant help but to smile.
"We can't hear you Joel, speak up"-Demetri.
"Who is this guy, he looks stupid?"-Diana
"I agree with you he looks stupid now, Joel, are you okay? Still malfunctioning"-Demetri.
"I'm sorry, I just can't believe what I am seeing now, your sister is awake, you awaken someone from eternal sleep, this is revolutionary, amazing, this is...I can't find the right word for it, but this is unbelievable"-Joel.
He started walking towards me with haste and holds me in both of my shoulders and look me straight in the eye.
"You have to tell me everything about it, every detail, every step, everything"-Joel.
"Okay, okay, Joel, geez, can you chill now, your face is too close, I can feel your breath, you have indian for lunch are you?"-Demetri.
"I'm sorry, I get too excited, Hello Demetri's sister, I am Joel, head of the research and alchemy of the Philippines Hunters Association"-Joel.
Joel introducing himself to Alice while holding out his hand for a handshake. Diana reach for it and shake his hand.
"Hi, I am Diana"-Diana.
"Right, lets talk later about the cure you found Demetri, we need to first examine your sister especially her health, and get her started with fluids, I'll contact the head doctor of the HA hospital, excuse me"-Joel
Joel exited the room to make the call. While he was doing it, I did my own examination to my sister. I examine every cell, veins, organ, every bit of her especially her soul to see if anything is wrong. I saw her soul a bit dim, maybe this is the reason why some of the people who enter the eternal sleep dies. I need to look into the book if there is a way to heal a soul.
"Are you okay Demetri? You look so serious"-Diana.
"Everythings okay, I just did my own examination to you"-Demetri.
"So, you are an awaken now? One of those hunters? And seeing how your friend acted earlier, you must be very powerful ha"-Diana.
"You could say that"-Demetri.
"How did you awaken me Demetri? from what I remember before I enter the eternal sleep that there might be no cure for this"-Diana.
"Everything has a cure, Diana, one is hard to find than the others but there will always be one"-Demetri.
"Thank you for keeping your promise, for finding a cure for me"-Diana.
A sudden flashback of me saying that promise before Diana entered her sleep.
"Of course, a promise is a promise"-Demetri.
"So, what happen after I fell asleep?"-Diana.
"I'll tell you everything once we got home, the doctors are here"-Demetri.
After I said those words, the door burst open and Joel are now with the doctors to examine Diana. I step away from the bed to give way to the doctors. They did every test to Diana and conclusively find everything okay with her even though she was asleep for so long. They also give her fluids to start until she is ready to take solid foods.
While Diana was tending by the doctors, Joel and I discuss about the cure for the external sleep. I telephatically called for Flint and he teleported right in front of Joel who was so shock that I thought he was going to have a heart attack.
"Stop doing that"-Joel.
"Sorry, so why did you call me here"-Flint.
"We will talk about the cure, you can explain it to him clearly than me, I'm not good with explanation"-Demetri.
Flint nodded in agreement and then he started talking to Joel while they were walking away. Before I follow then behind, I first go back to my sister and tell her that I needed to do something regarding to the cure. She just smile and nodded and tell me to come back quick. While we were at the lab, Chairman David come by too, Im pretty sure he already heard about my sister waking up.
"Demetri, I heard your sister is awake, how did you do it? How is she?"-Chairman David.
"She is okay Chairman, or should I say she is all better, waking her up was not just my feat, Flint help me, without him, I will not done it"-Demetri.
Flint got shy because of what I say that he got teased by Joel.
"This is a victory for humanity, we will be able to cure now the ones who are affected by the eternal sleep"-Chairman David.
We started discusing on how to tell the world about the cure. We first tell the other HA about the cure and all have decided to have a meeting first before the news to be spread around the world, and the meeting was quickly held today because this matter must be discussed now. We requested to every HA to have a report on how many in each country are still affected by the eternal sleep so we can measure how many we need to make.
After the meeting, I went to my sister first before going home. She told me that the doctors advice her to stay in for a week in the hospital before she can leave. I handed her gadgets from my subspace so she can have something to spend her time with. I told her that I needed to go home because we still need to make more cures so we can wake up the others. She nodded and smile, understanding what I needed to do and cheer me up. I kiss her on her forehead and promise her I will be back soon and teleported back home where Flint was already there and entering Aiya's journal.
With the report in hand, we concluded that we need atleast a hundred of vials of cure to make, I am so thankful that the Labyrinth happened before we found the cure because I will not have enough soul summon. I think after the Labyrinth I have atleast a thousand soul summon but majority are all wild creatures, only a few have a mind of its own.
We made all the cure we needed and began distributing it to each HA. They decide that before the cure was handed to the people that a press conference must happen because this is a very good news to be spread. And because I am again the one who found it they say, but not really technically, I am the who's going to have to talk again.
