Year 800 After the Coronation—
Twelve full years had passed since the barriers separating the Sectors were destroyed, opening the way for an unprecedented wave of expansion and marking the beginning of what would come to be known throughout the universe as the Third Age of Cosmic Colonization.
The first age had been initiated by the Behemoth Interas following the conclusion of the long era dominated by invasions from space beasts and the Plague, when the circumstances of the universe had finally allowed a new period of colonization to begin... The second had been initiated several centuries earlier by the researcher Lord Human, who had unleashed an enormous colonization array designed to extend his reach into territories that he had previously been unable to colonize through ordinary means.
