I ask Crista if Her conceal dagger is ready, She said "Yes". I Told Ms. Elkon About what's going on, She's calm from what I look. Everything is going to be fine... The Security is top notch, Nobody can able to get inside the Capital. All Civilian that's is inside can able to see the Celebration Event. The Royal Families that is in the top of the tree is coming down, To See whose going to be the Priestess of the Kingdom.
I wasn't allow to Have a weapon, But i do have a concealed dagger in my back, Just incase. I didn't told Ms. Elkon about it. But I can use Affinity and my Shadow Hand to protect my self. I was told to wear this Leather and wooden makeshift hand. In my right arm, It probably going to took a while to remove it.
About 1 Hour later, The event finally start. The old elf Priest appears infront of the Stage and told a long speech
It was weird listening to another religion prayers and beliefs but after 20 Minutes of the priest speech. The King of the Elf Kingdom, Appears in the stage.
The King spoke to the people, And I was amaze how He managed to create such beautiful Spoken words. After His speech in the Stage. The Event has Began.
There's At least Two and 1 event
The Two is Side event and one is the main one. The side event is about our current situation of the kingdom and the other one comedy. the Main event is about the one who can Wield the Staff of Lumière.
First event.
I was ask to get in the stage. I look behind me and It's Crista making a Okay Sign. I was told to sit down. They said my name to the entire event.
They gave me questions and other stuff like "How it feels to live here", "What's your current status", Or "Do you feel ashamed to living here". Of course I told them what I feel. They seems Satisfied from what I told.
That took a while. But I noticed something moving behind of the civilians watching.
"Crista, I saw cloak people moving. Be alert"
"Okay"
I Told Ms. Elkon about it, but she doesn't react. but more like She's accepted it.
I told the Guards to be alert, Because i spotted mysterious people moving in between the viewers.
They agreed and one of them goes outside to tell the others.
After the second Event over. Is the main event of the celebration. The one whose worthy to held the Staff of Lumière. Even due It's true that only Light affinity can held it. That doesn't mean you have the capacity to successfully used it. But only one person can held it. Any person going to used it Will get cursed by the Staff of Lumière.
The main 4 Light affinity users, Was told to go to the stage
"Elkon, Pomona, Venice, And trusta please go to the stage" Said by the priest. The Priest said It's final words and His entire body withered away and His ash flew to the sky.
Elf doesn't left a corpse If they died from Old age. Technically they don't die in old age, But one by one their body Uses more mana and the more mana the more energy that need to consume. and the moment mana and the energy disappeared their body becomes withered and their body heatsup until there becomes ashes.
The priest died Before our eyes, And Their where told to hold it whose ready.
One the person whose ready Is Venice. She walks to the middle of the stage. She chant the word needed to held the staff. And it work. The people claps. But she tries to used it nothing happened. It means that She's enough worthy to hold it but She's not worthy enough to used it.
She's dismayed but She doesn't go rogue or anything, But simply accepted it. If I remember correctly she's used to be a Nun here, So basically she will turn in this church as a Nun afterward...
2 More tries to held it. The other one Fails to wield it, and the other kne succeed but the not worthy enough to used it.

Elkon hesitate for a little. But Elkon drop the staff in the floor.

"I'm sorry Ms. Elkon, But I was saved By Ash"

The Pomona pointed to the man in stage

I Listened was happening, We where locked into a Room with 8 Guards. 2 loyal Guards is also with us.
I look at crista for a moment and She's can't react rationally. This is the her first time seeing a large Crossbow with a large arrow pointing in us.
Suddenly My head hurt suddenly, And my mana is leaking, Like someone is controlling me.
Elkon, look at the crowd below, but everyone is running away and tries to get out of the city.
"Help! Help!" People scream, Childrens are crying as they getting squashed. Eye storm members blend in the crowds as they started hunting government officials
Every eye storm member is about to leave except the the Ash standing Infront of the stage. He held his sword and said
"Even If you're twin siblings did escape, I still monitoring, If I got bored, I will just killed them as my own Amusem-"
Suddenly the door open where Seth and Crista is and is fighting the Guard.
Elkon's necklace started shinning darkly. It reacted to Seth's Power.
She look at seth for a moment and It looks like It's the goddess controlling him what to do. "Goddess... Meru?" She said.
"Wha..? What the hell is going on!?" He got distracted in the moment and He about to swig his sword then

Crista cast a bright light that Blind his eyes and Crista using her dagger, stab him in the shoulder. He falls down to the stage but still alive
"Ms. Zachary are you okay-"
Crista notice the Necklace becomes darker and darker.
"Ms. Zachary! Comes back to your senses" Elkon looks terrified, so Crista touches the necklace
Suddenly a massive power, React to it, And Vomit to the side, "What power is that!?"
Crista look behind and everyone is cut down, And Seth and the two guards is the remaining people cussing in Blood. Pomona was also killed by Seth, But the staff is still in the ground.
Ash Climbs up to the stage and remove the knife in his shoulder, Then shouted
"Commit... Plan B!"
Suddenly entire city exploded with gunpowder.
"If Nobody will follow me then, I will end this Bloodline On Me! NOW THAT THE-" Suddenly the explosion stops, But He gone insane and start laughing Maniacally, He slowly walk toward Elkon while having this give grim in his face. Elkon Looks at Ash in disgust and said.
"You should be burn in the after life"
Elkon stabs Ash to the chest and Kick him out of the stage head first to the ground. Then in the last of breathe air.
Elkon Walks toward the Staff and chant the Seal to unlocked the user grant of ability.
"I Elkon from the Zachary family, I will wield this staff as the day I pass this to the next on the line, Will used this to benefit the kingdom, the people and the world to seek forgiveness and hope from the god of Light, Grant us Our prayer and belief-" Elkon losing conscious gaps her last word before losing consciousness.
Seth was exhausted and lay down to the floor. The 2 Guard help with them is majority injuried and need medical treatment.
Crista carried them, And Reinforcement finally arrive and help them got medical treatment
The few guards that help with the evacuation manage to open up the gate and let everyone left the capital city huge amount of Carriage self the city and ton of houses is burning.
3 days later, The official report finally comes thru and 1/3 Of the city was destroyed and 1320 civilian, 240 Eye storm member, 89 Guards. killed, Missing and injured. And Oppositely A city nearby also get involved when the city was overrun by the Eye storm group. but the fighting cut short when a Massive being flew in the sky terrorist both parties.
17 Days later
Elkon was in a makeshift medical conditions in the tent.
"Where am I?" She said in lower voice.
Crista look at her and said "Where not in the Elf kingdom"
"Where Are we?"
"Where in the middle of the Deep forest, Where basically outside the Kingdom"

Other people is getting treatment and other is in the carriage filled up with Injured men and civilian
"How- wha-., How when did this even happen?"
