When Ling Tianyou returned, Gu Ningyue was sitting on the sofa, staring blankly at the remote control.
Her pale little face was expressionless, without any hint of a smile, as if she hadn't even noticed his return.
He casually handed the suit to Aunt Zhang and stood there, raising his chin towards Gu Ningyue's back: "What's wrong with the Young Madam?"
Aunt Zhang covered her mouth half with her hand and whispered, "President Ling, the Young Madam has been like this since you left. I've asked Uncle You twice, but she won't say anything."
Ling Tianyou nodded and sat beside Gu Ningyue: "Did someone upset you?"
Wasn't she full of enthusiasm in the morning? How did she change so quickly?
Startled by his voice, Gu Ningyue finally snapped back to reality: "You're back?"
Ling Tianyou smiled gently, "What are you thinking about, so absorbed?"
Under the light, Ling Tianyou's pleasing face was so close, slightly improving Gu Ningyue's gloomy mood.
