The faint clatter of utensils echoed softly from the floor below.

One pan sizzled with bacon while another waited beside it.

"You're awake rather early, Young Master."

"Come downstairs," Lan Yu said as he flipped the bacon with practiced ease.
"I've already prepared your herbal tea."
Gou Feng hesitated for a moment before making his way downstairs.
