Next morning Sae jin went first to his grandfather first
"Good morning gramps " said Sae jin with a smile
"hmm good morning" said Jun rubbing his eyes, suddenly the though of yesterday being a dream hit him and he jerked up
"It wasn't a dream gramps.... I am here to talk about your treatment it should take three days so we will be going on a trip for the week in front of everyone so help me with that" said Sae jin
"Why a week eh brat? " asked Jun
"Do you want to get me killed by Yu-rin " asked Jun clearly scared of Yu rin's demonic mother form.
"I have to go to with Jae Eun to her mother and then there is your treatment after that I have a date with Yuhui and I am sure if Seonhwa hears of a date she will ask for one too so a day for that too.
So gramps help me a little" said Sae jin showing how busy he was this weekend
"Fine " grumbled Jun
" But brat aren't you some shit you beating the shit out of a politician's son on the first day of your school got yourself a girl outside despite having Yuhui and Seonhwa I wonder what will happen if Yu rin found out the flat for her son is being used by a another girl" said Jun threatening Sae jin who shuddered breaking a cold sweat.
He of course knew how overprotective her mother was and she still saw him as a child and he didn't know what will her reaction be once he is found out neither did he wanted to find out.
"Heh I wonder what will happen if mom found that gramps took me to a party where a lot of people wanted to marry their daughter to me and a few wanted to give away their daughters for some benefits. " said Sae jin and now it was Jun's turn to be scared.
While in stalemate Sae jin used his ultimate move
"Hey gramps I was thinking what if you suddenly forgot what happened yesterday and mom got the news of what happened at the party my version of course I wonder what kind of punishment will you get" threatened Sae jin blatantly and Jun shuddered
"You wouldn't dare brat " roared Jun
"Of course I wouldn't ,why would I when my dear gramps will take permission for me, thanks I gotta go now" said Sae jin and went away before Jun could react
Jun sighed and rubbed his temples thinking about how to convince Yu rin
Sae jin went to the apartment where Jae Eun was staying and went to hospital together
On the way they stopped the taxi at a flower store to get bunch of carnation since it was the first time meeting her Mom and it was polite to bring flowers for someone who is in hospital.
Sae jin and Jae Eun reached the room in which her mother was admitted and saw her watching television she turned to look at them and smiled seeing her daughter.
She was surprised to see a handsome young man with her daughter.
Sae jin was also surprised to see a beautiful woman who looked in her 20s despite her age being much older.
"Jae Eun you came" said the woman
"Yes mother" Said Jae Eun and sat near her bed
Sae jin stood at the side and watched the reunion of mother and daughter who were not allowed to meet regularly the duo hugged for quite some time and then towards another person in the room.
"Where are my maaners I am Jae hee You must be Jae Eun's Boyfriend nice to meet you " said Jae hee
Sae jin was stunned how did he became her boyfriend but when she saw the pleading look of Jae Eun he didn't correct Jae hee
"Hello aunt I am Kim Sae jin and these are for you " said Sae jin with a charming smile causing Jae hee to be dazed.
She woke up from her stupor and accept the carnations smiling
"What aunt call me Mother" said Jae hee pouting
Despite being married and having a 20 yr old daughter Jae hee looked quite young and her pouting expression was so cute Sae jin wanted to pinch her nose but held back
"Ye-es M-Mother " said Sae jin awkwardly
"Sae jin do you really love my daughter?" The sudden question Jae caused Sae jin to be surprised but he nodded nonetheless
"Then could you leave Seoul and live at the countryside with Jae Eun so you could be safe, You see Jae Eun's father is a politician he wanted to use her as a chess piece so he could get some gains in his political carear , You both should run away" said Jae hee in a worried tone
"Mom you don't need to worry Sae jin took care of him" spoke Jae Eun who out from her stupor
since she was feeling happy by becoming Sae jins girlfriend even it was just a lie he was very gentle with her now she was more determined to make Sae jin fall in love with him.
Jae Eun explained an altered version of how both of them fell in love and how he got both of them out of the evil man's clutches at a very high cost even for him.
Jae Eun's mother was listening to the story intently and was very sad that Sae jin had to pay a hefty sum to save them even if he was her daughters boyfriend and she felt very indebted towards him.
Jae Yun and Sae jin talked with Jae hee for some time after that Sae jin left with Jae Eun saying he will come regularly after this week since he was very busy this week.
After Sae jin left with Jae Eun who promised to come everyday Jae hee was looking outside the window thinking how her life changed for better and her daughter found a great boyfriend she felt very happy but she also felt very sad that she couldn't find someone like him in her life.
Seeing how gentle handsome and loving he was and to what extent he was ready to go for her daughter she felt envious of her own daughter she was still 38 she could look for someone right.
Maybe just maybe she could find out someone who will treat her gently or care for her like Sae jin did for her daughter .
Jae Eun left with Sae jin she had seen how kind and gentle he was with her even they were just acquaintances she loved the feeling of being called as his girlfriend by him and didn't wanted to lose him. She smiled thinking about a future where they could be together .
On the way they didn't talk much there was a comfortable silence between them when they reached the flat Sae jin dropped her home and left for his house alone thinking about the dates to come and the treatment.
