"One of the eight great masters!" The eight of them spoke at the same time.
Jun Mo Xie nodded his head. "Yes. I've personal business with that guy. No need to make it difficult. Just find his whereabouts and tell me. I'll take care of everything myself."
The eight of them agreed with his request under the temptations of the miraculous pills.
Suddenly an invisible ripple erupted causing the eight Xuan Beasts Kings to jump in fright and fall down on the ground before rolling around.
"You guys leave this place. I want to have an important discussion with h... Senior alone."
An otherwordly beauty donned in pure white, untainted by the filth of this world appeared from inside the forest. Her eyes were crystal clear as she stared at Young Master Jun.
"Yes, Big Sister." The eight of them jumped to their feet and disappeared in a few seconds.
Jun Mo Xie continued to drink peacefully and asked. "What happened Venerable Mei? Is it you're worried that I had an ulterior motive to harm your younger siblings?"
Mei Xue Yan gracefully landed on the other side of the table and smiled. Her smile akin to the arrival of springs, could cause the fall of any nation.
"With young master's strength, even if I try to stop you, you can still pluck all of our lives." She chuckled lightly and continued. "Young Master had proved himself through his actions... The only thing I failed to understand was the goal of the Young Master. What does Young Master want from Tian Fa? What do you want from me?"
Mei Xue Yan was not a fool from any angle. With her rich experience and knowledge, she had immediately guessed that the young man in front of her was not from the Three Holy Lands. If those bastards had such deep strengths then Tian Fa would have ceased to exist.
But despite his trustworthy actions, she just couldn't believe that he was just helping them from the goodwill of his heart.
There were no such free things in this world, especially regarding such a matter which could change the balance of the world.
Jun Mo Xie paused for a second and chuckled. "Venerable Mei is very intelligent and extraordinary. I feel ashamed in front of you... What do you think?"
"Hmm... as far as I can see there is something Young Master wants from Tian Fa. But I just couldn't guess what it was. I hope young master will put some light onto this matter."
Jun Mo Xie nodded his head and took off his mask. "Well, let's start with introductions. This young master is a descendant of the Jun Family from Tian Xiang City, Jun Mo Xie. You can call me either Jun Mo Xie or Young Master Jun or even Mo Xie will be fine... I want to use the power of Tian Fa forest to protect the survival of my family."
"With Young Master Jun's strength, who can be his rival in the mundane world." Mei Xue Yan praised from the bottom of her heart. "I guess you just want to use the famous name of Tian Fa as a screen. Am I right?"
"You're both right and wrong. I want to use the strength of Tian Fa from time to time in return for my help in enhancing the strength of Tian Fa."
Jun Mo Xie continued with a smile. "Second: Herbs! The only place except the Three Holy Lands where I can find so many rare and precious herbs is Tian Fa. So, I'll collect them from you guys and in return provide you guys with a portion of the miraculous pills which will be able to increase your strength without side effects."
Mei Xue Yan took a sip of wine and asked, "Will there be a third?"
Jun Mo Xie chuckled softly. "Naturally. The third thing I want… is you, Lady Mei."
She met his gaze, her expression calm, unreadable. "I'm not sure I understand what Young Master Jun means by that."
Jun Mo Xie exhaled, his tone losing its usual teasing edge. "There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who say one thing and mean another… and those who speak from the heart, with words that carry the weight of their intentions. I am the latter."
His eyes held hers steadily. "I admire you, Miss Mei. For longer than you realize. Your strength, your resolve… the way you carry the burdens of your people without hesitation. You possess a heart that forgives even those who have wronged you deeply, and that kindness, that unwavering spirit, is something I cannot help but be drawn to."
He gave a small, self-aware smile. "I won't pretend to be a man of singular devotion. My heart is restless, and I am, by nature, playful. But I am also honest. And the truth is… I am drawn to you, not just for your beauty, but for who you are. I won't call it love—not yet. Call it admiration, call it desire, call it whatever you will. But it is real, and I will not hide it."
Jun Mo Xie leaned back, his voice gentler now. "I don't expect an answer from you tonight. Stay by my side for a while. Watch me, understand me, and when the time comes, give me your reply—whatever it may be. It won't change our alliance, if that is your concern. But I wanted you to hear this, not as a jest or a passing fancy, but as something spoken from my heart."
Mei Xue Yan felt warmth rush to her face, spreading down to her very fingertips. She had faced countless challenges, countless battles… but this? This was unexpected.
For the first time in a long while, she found herself at a loss for words.
Seeing her so embarrassed, Jun Mo Xie smiled and changed the topic. "And now to the main topic. Please make sure that until your siblings have at least Level 11, they will not wander outside of Tian Fa."
"Why do you say that...? Are you saying their lives are in danger?" Mei Xue Yan also realized that he was changing the topic to not embarrass her any further. She smiled gratefully and asked.
"Isn't the attack on your siblings a proof of this?" Mo Xie asked playfully.
"Ah, this..." Mei Xue Yan also understood the crux of the situation. She might look like a weak girl on the surface but she could guess things just by a few clues.
