The morning after the banquet, everyone was preparing with apprehension. They had been given outfits specially designed for the intense training that awaited them. Today marked the beginning of their theoretical instruction, where they would learn the history of this mysterious world, the secrets of the dungeons, the dangers of monsters, the mastery of elements, and many other essential pieces of knowledge.

Maïli, ever dedicated and proactive, was already up at dawn in the courtyard. Her movements were precise and fluid, a testament to her discipline and commitment. At her side, Eva was also training, determined to follow her friend's example.

"Thanks again for last night," Eva said, gratitude in her voice.

"No problem."

"Do you think he was going to kill me?"

"No, I think he just wanted to give you a warning. You disrespected him and his family, and he wanted to remind you of the potential consequences."

"How was I supposed to react?" Eva asked, slightly vexed.

"I don't blame you, don't worry. Besides, killing you would be counterproductive. He'd be eliminating one of his heroes and risk turning the others against him," Maïli replied softly.

"I suppose there's a 'but'..." Eva added, raising an eyebrow.

"But if any of us were to leave the castle, he'd probably kill them," Maïli answered gravely.

"And Logan?" Eva asked, worried.

"Logan had no powers, so he posed no threat. But we, as heroes, if we were to leave the castle, we could turn against him or join another country. In that case, he'd eliminate us without hesitation. But that's only my hypothesis, based on how I understand things."

"So, what should we do?" Eva asked, determined.

"We have to grow stronger quickly and, for now, obey! When we're strong enough, he'll think twice before trying anything against us!" Maïli replied with conviction.

"Alright, I'll pass the message on to the others," Eva concluded before walking away.

There were still a few hours left before lunch and the start of their training. Meanwhile, the king was speaking with his son and daughter in an adjacent room.

"That Maïli is a very clever girl. She managed to expose some of my contradictions to the others. What do you think of her, my son?" the king asked.

"I'm starting to like her more and more," Raphael replied with a smirk.

"Ah, you already want to make her yours," the king laughed. "And you, my daughter?"

"She's talented and intelligent," Sarah replied, her tone neutral.

"Yes, intelligent—maybe a bit too much for my liking," the king added pensively.

A silence settled before Raphael spoke again.

"By the way, Father, were you going to kill that girl called Eva?"

"Kill her? Of course not. Heroes are people we need, and we can't summon them at will," the king replied, shaking his head.

After breakfast, they were all brought to a room resembling a classroom. The walls were lined with old maps and charts depicting various monsters and mythical creatures. Shelves filled with dusty books and scrolls completed the décor, adding a studious and mysterious atmosphere to the room. At the center stood a bearded man, upright, his piercing gaze sweeping across the room with natural authority.

"Good morning, I'll be your instructor. Please take your seats."

Everyone sat quietly on the chairs, some looking a little displeased.

"We leave high school to become heroes, only to end up in class again. Isn't that ironic?" Shawn whispered with a laugh to Méverick.

"Well then, I'm Mr. Marcou, and I'll be teaching you many things. We'll talk about history, professions, elements, the Church, the guild, monsters, and dungeons. But first, a question: don't you find it strange that we all speak the same language?" Marcou asked, piquing his students' curiosity.

"It's true that since we arrived here, we haven't questioned it," Maël admitted.

"Well, let me answer that for you. When heroes are summoned, they receive what's called the Blessing of Worlds. This blessing allows those who are summoned to immediately understand and speak the language of the world they're brought into," Marcou explained.

"And who grants this blessing?" Méverick asked, curious.

"It is granted by the world itself, through mana that stores the information of all these lands. When you're summoned, this information is transmitted to you in small fragments. This blessing doesn't appear on your status," Marcou clarified.

"Well, now we know why we can speak and understand your language," Maïli said, satisfied with the explanation.

"I will now teach you everything you need to know about our world," Marcou announced, beginning his long lecture.

The teacher started by talking about professions:

"There is a multitude of professions, each with its own specificities and skills. Some are common, others are rarer and therefore more powerful. Each year, new professions appear or are discovered. Among the most common, we have archers, lancers, knights, fighters, swordsmen, monks, and mages. As I said, there are far too many to list them all."We received powerful classes when we were summoned here, but what about the inhabitants of this world?" Maïli asked.

"Excellent question."

At birth, each individual receives a class, determined by natural aptitudes such as constitution, elemental affinity, sensitivity to mana; by their family or regional background, like a lineage of farmers, soldiers, or blacksmiths. Some parents can pass down skills or class traits. Through blood, family rites, magical bonds. This gives rise to prestigious families, social castes, or powerful bloodlines that are respected or feared. For example: a child born into a family of knights will, in most cases, inherit the knight class.

"So if we have a class, we keep it for life with no possibility of change?"

"Fortunately, no. Although determined at birth, a class isn't permanently fixed. Through training, trials, missions, or specific conditions, one can change paths or even accumulate multiple classes. However, most people lack the will or the means to change paths and live their entire lives with their birth class. Also, there are class variations, like specialized mages," Marcou explained.

"What's a specialized mage?" Dan asked, intrigued.

"Specialized mages have a high affinity with a specific element. If it's fire, they're called red mages," Marcou clarified.

"So each color is associated with an element," Eva added.

"Exactly. Blue for water, red for fire, white for light, black for darkness, yellow for lightning, green for wood, gray for wind, azure for ice, and so on. The problem is that these mages have little affinity with the other elements."

"So very strong in one element, but weak in the others," Karine concluded.

"Exactly, although there are exceptions in some cases. There are also variations like magic swordsmen, red monks, dragon riders, black knights. In short, there's a multitude of professions and variations, not to mention the appearance of new ones."

"So each profession has its own affiliated skills and techniques," Maïli observed.

"Exactly, but the most important thing isn't the profession itself, it's what you do with it. The better you master your profession, the stronger you'll be. A well-trained swordsman can very well defeat a magic swordsman, for example," Marcou explained.

"Is it possible to have multiple professions at the same time?" Emma asked, curious.

"As I said earlier, yes, you can even have three or four at the same time. To this day, that's the maximum number of classes observed," Marcou answered.

"How can we obtain them?" Maïli asked with interest.

"I see some of you are eager to grow stronger."

Marcou smiled as he noticed the enthusiasm and impatience of some of his students at the thought of becoming stronger.

"Well, to obtain new professions, you need to acquire what we call Nexus Crystals. These are concentrated mana crystals, very rare and difficult to obtain. However, with very rigorous training, you can earn other classes. Your professions can also evolve if you become strong enough."

"Stronger, meaning?" Shawn asked, intrigued.

"That's not something that concerns you yet, because you're far from it. But to be more precise, we're talking about reaching between level 300 and 500," Marcou said with a soft laugh.

"Ah, when you say far, you mean really far," Shawn joked ironically, eliciting a few laughs in the room.

A boy then raised his hand, and Marcou gave him the floor.

"If there are items to get new classes, there must be many other useful items. Are there items to increase our stats and especially obtain skills?" the boy, named Jay, asked.

"Jay, right? That's a good, logical thought," Marcou replied approvingly. "Indeed, there are items to boost one's stats, as well as skill crystals to acquire new abilities."

"I suppose these crystals are very rare too, but where can we get them?" Jay continued, visibly curious.

"As you can imagine, Nexus Crystals and skill crystals are generally found in dungeons or by killing very high-level monsters. There's also the possibility of creating them through alchemists and their alchemy, but that takes a lot of time."

"Well, I think that's enough for today. Your first training will start soon, and you'll meet your instructors. As for us, we'll meet again tomorrow at the same time," Marcou concluded.

The students began packing their things; the day promised to be intense and full of twists.

Encyclopedia

"You entered this world with a class. You may not have chosen it, but it was given to you. It is neither a burden nor a privilege: it is a starting point."

Origin of Classes At birth, each individual receives a base class. It is determined by:

o Natural aptitudes (constitution, elemental affinity, mana sensitivity…)

o Family or regional background (e.g.: a lineage of farmers, soldiers, or blacksmiths)

o Magical inheritance (some parents can pass down class skills or traits)

Example: a child born into a family of healers could inherit the "Apprentice Healer" class and later evolve into Healer. Evolution & Multiplicity Though determined at birth, a class is not set in stone.

• Through training, trials, missions, or exceptional conditions, one can:

o Evolve their current class (Apprentice → Master)

o Change paths (Farmer → Militiaman → Veteran Soldier)

o Accumulate multiple classes (secondary class system or "fused classes")

o Seal or abandon a class (rare and difficult)

Some individuals even awaken multiple classes, forming what are called dual or triple profiles (e.g.: Paladin-Mage / Blacksmith-Swordsman).

But most people lack the will or the means to change paths and live their whole lives with their birth class. Class Transmission Some classes are transmissible by lineage:

o By blood (physical classes: Knight, Beast Tamer, Blacksmith)

o Through family rites (spiritual or ritual classes: Necromancer, Weapon Master, Ancestral Protector, blood rituals)

o Through magical bonds: some children inherit a weakened but modifiable unique skill

This gives rise to prestigious families, social castes, or powerful bloodlines that are respected or feared. Role of Classes in Society

Classes can determine an individual's initial social standing. Even if it can change, they influence:

Saint, Hero, Apostle, ???

Class and Destiny: A False Fatality The class system provides a direction, not a prison.

• Those who wish to evolve must:

o Break out of their comfort zone

 o Survive an awakening

o Find a mentor or opportunity Acquisition

Some people are born without a class; on their status it is marked as Acquisition. A class will be assigned upon leveling up or finding the path they wish to follow.

But in most cases, people follow the path laid out by their original class, out of convenience or fear of change.

"He had been born a Wood Carrier. He thought he would be one all his life. But after surviving a bandit attack and instinctively protecting his sister by raising a wall of earth, the elders confirmed that his circuits had changed. He had awakened the Elemental Warrior class. That day marked a renewal earned through trial."
