(Starrk's POV)
"Gurarara!!" the old man laughed as he sat on his seat, "You lucky son of a bitch!!"
He chugged booze from a bottle.
We had returned and decided to tell the crew what happened. Everyone had been wondering what was taking us so long to loot a navy ship. They never expected it to evolve from simple looting to a chaotic battle involving the marines, The Dragon Knight, and Kaido. Although Kaido didn't do much fighting.
"Oh, it's funny to you?" I scowled, "Shit went down!"
He looked at me, "And you managed to escape with no casualties." He said, "That's all that matters."
Marco spoke up, "I can't believe that The Dragon Knight lured all of you guys for a trap-yoi!!" He exclaimed, "Why the hell would he do that?"
I shrugged, "I don't know, he was saying weird shit." I told him, "Something tells me he did all that work for something and if Kaido didn't appear, he would've managed to get it done."
I saw as Jozu nodded, "And what do you suppose he wanted to do?" He asked
I sighed, "I don't know exactly." I said crossing my arms, "But I know it involves me."
"How so?" Marco asked
"He told me." I said, "He said that he did all that to meet me. And see what I am about."
"What does that mean?" I heard the Old Man ask
"I don't know." I said, "All I know is that I was his focus."
"He could know about your whole future knowledge thing," Marco suggested
That is true. He did mention that.
"You know what? You're right." I said, "He did say something about the rumor. But I haven't heard anyone mention that in a while. Wonder why it took him so long to do so?"
"The Dragon Knight has been quite active in the past two years, similar to you." I heard Vista say, "From attacking government ships to stealing from Big Mom. Maybe you weren't on the schedule yet."
I nodded, "you're right."
"Speaking of Big Mom." I turned to see the old man as he spoke up, "I imagine her patience has long since run out. She will not sit around and do nothing about that. She will go for The Dragon Knight."
He's not wrong. Big Mom is known for brutally upkeeping her reputation. If anyone even dares to sully it, she will retaliate hard. But from what I've heard, The Dragon Knight has been evading her retaliations a lot. She will surely make him her priority.
"Yea." I said, "It will get worse for him."
"And if the Dragon Knight has taken an interest in you, then rest assured, he will lure her to us." Whitebeard said, "And let's not forget about Kaido. He's made it clear he's taken an interest in you. If you have two Yonko breathing down your neck, it will not be pretty for us. You're lucky you managed to use your free chance to escape. I suppose giving him the devil fruits you stole was worth it after all."
"Yea," I said
"We must prepare for any possibility of war." Whitebeard said seriously, "The government has taken that incident seriously. We have to consider they'll do something about it."
"I agree." Marco said, "The world will soon be plunged into chaos-yoi!"
"Which brings us to the next topic." Whitebeard said, "Starrk, you mentioned a plan before. One that involves the other Yonko."
I raised my eyebrow, "Oh so now you wanna listen to me?"
"I suppose listening to it will not be so bad." He nodded, "But it is up to me if we go through it."
I chuckled, "Oh boy. I highly doubt you will go through with it." I told him, "It is very risky and very stupid. But I only consider doing it because of my curse."
I felt all eyes on me. The majority of the commanders have gathered to discuss the situation. Most of them always keep quiet when discussing major topics, only Marco, Vista, and Jozu speak. I find it odd that Thatch also keeps quiet.
"Curse?" Thatch said, "What curse?"
I sighed, "You all remember how I joined?" I asked, "Back at the beehive, I fought Garp, and got my ass completely whooped. Then the old man shows up and despite my injuries from Garp, I fought him too."
"That was indeed the most impressive and foolish thing I've seen you done." I saw Izou smirking, "And I've seen you do some foolish things."
I nodded, "Well, that is due to a curse I have." I said, "Basically, my body is extremely resilient. I have an insane amount of vitality, crazy stamina, and absurd recovery. Makes me impossible to kill. At least I think so."
"And how did you get such a curse-yoi?" Marco said, "Does it have something to do with your homeland? Cregan said there's crazy shit going on over there."
"Something like that." I told him, "But yea. My plan is very stupid, but I assure you, with enough patience, it will pay off."
"What would be the outcome of this plan?" Jozu asked
I smirked, "The Road Poneglyphs."
"Again with these Poneglyphs." I heard the old man sigh
"Obviously not the damned rocks themselves." I said, "But the rubbings."
Izo walked up to me, "Starrk. I'll have you know that one of those poneglyphs is in the possession of Kaido in Wano." He said, "Even the late Lord Oden found it very risky to go for it. And that is because he knew the location of it."
I nodded, "Don't worry. I know where it is located." I said, "But you're right. It is very risky. The same goes for Big Mom's poneglyph, it is in her castle and heavily guarded. But if I am right about it, we can get the rubbing of it without any difficulty."
"How so?" Marco asked
"I have a feeling that sometime in the future, the rubbing will be on board one of her kids' ships." I said, "But that will still take time to tell."
"So how do you suppose we get those rubbings?" the old man asked, "And what do you plan to do with them?"
"I'll tell you my plan." I said, "But promise me you won't tell anyone else and when I'm executing that plan, you'll have to be patient and wait for my return. As for what I'll do with them, isn't it obvious?"
"I am going to make you Pirate King."
