Fang looked up at Ren and laughed suddenly.
Ren looked at his partner carefully, and then heaved a sigh of relief when he found that Fang's laugher was entirely normal.
Fang reached out and grabbed Ren's hand, and then tugged him close to himself. "Sit down, Ren," he said, his purple eyes still filled with laughter.
Ren obeyed silently.
"I'll take care of our baby Rhea, all right?" Fang said softly, stroking the newly born baby's tender cheeks. "I've taken care of babies before, at the Orchid Orphanage…"
"All right," Ren agreed easily, looping an arm around Fang's shoulders. "My big darling is the best!"
He was quite happy to let Fang take charge of the baby, actually. Ren honestly had no experience in dealing with human babies – he had been the youngest child in his previous world, and the six children he had in this world were not human. Frankly speaking, Ren was a little scared to handle the fragile and tiny life currently resting in Fang's arms.
