"Are you okay Mrs. Rose?" He asked me again when I told him to open the window. Still, his hand gave me vibes of heat. The way he slapped me, I think his fingers left marks. Right now he's sleeping peacefully, resting his head on my lap. Stroking my hair , I saw the folded skin on his forehead.
"I'm fine." Trying to stop the tears, I control my hormones. Maybe right now our baby is hearing your breathing. Look, baby, your dad is here. That's how I heard him the last time.
