She opened her eyes to find that San Zhe and Chu Ying stood flanking her, their weapons drawn out.
She followed their line of sight and found a human child that had golden snake body from his waist down, snarling at them. He had messy dark brown hair and his eyes had a red glow to them.
"What is going on?" she asked.
Sharp red eyes turned towards her, the intensity in them growing.
The boy actually started to drool poison that burned the ground that it fell on.
San Zhe looked over at her in hurry. "Sister Xiu! You are back!"
Cheng Xiu looked at the two of them and the Half-Human. "Who is the boy?"
"The Gu baby!" San Zhe said to her.
She frowned. "Am I supposed to know what that meant automatically?"
"It's the thing that hatched out of that jar!" Chu Ying said. "It hatched as soon as I got out of the Simulation! It looked no different from any ordinary small constrictor And Then Brother San Zhe was also here but you were taking your time."
