Sonia momentarily forgot what Weiser was holding in her right hand, her resentment suppressed and replaced by intense curiosity. Diya was the same, with her ear pressed against the wardrobe door, eavesdropping on Weiser and Ash's private conversation.
Among the four operators, if Sonia and Diya were considered friends, then Weiser was like a familiar stranger to them, while Vishi was a villain needing close supervision. During the Distant Realm, as the Sword Witch became a rival in love, the new operative Weiser naturally became their mutual friend.
