Jade bowed, turned his back, and pulled on a pair of gloves. He set the so-called samples into a leather box before bringing it forward.
"Here's the package, Sir," he said, presenting it with both hands.
Ryley accepted it barehanded, his smile poised and polished as he extended the box toward Leo. "Tell me what you think of the scent later."
Leo took it without hesitation. That single act sent a thrill shooting through Ryley's veins, one he quickly masked behind that same honey-coated smile.
"Sure thing," Leo replied. His gaze lingered a moment too long. "But if I may ask… what inspired this unreleased scent?"
"The inspiration?" Ryley echoed, tilting his head as though the question puzzled him. "Hmm… a field of chamomiles somewhere in my hometown."
"I see." Leo's lips curved faintly, unreadable. "Well then… I'll see you tomorrow."
"Take care on your way," Ryley answered, his smile still fixed—until the elevator doors closed and Leo was gone.
