As Xero, Cynix, and Kookie made their way to Kookie's village Pain and King discovered something that could pose a potential threat, "Why the hell do you have that?" King asked in confusion, the three were looking at a Umigo queen (Umigo queen's are the spouse of the Umigo King who is the leader of the pack) "You people are insane, no wonder you're getting attacked the Umigo King is a furious one especially when it comes to his lover, he won't stop attacking until he gets his wife back!" King yelled to the scientist, but they seemed unfazed. Pain kept King from attacking the scientist, meanwhile Xero and Cynix are almost to the village with Kookie as kookie seen her home village looking to be busted up she ran for home Xero and Cynix followed behind but they weren't the only ones heading to that village, not too far behind was Karma League soldiers following a Karma League Guardian the best Karma League has to offer. (Karma League Guardian's individuals who are strong and the worst of the worst, they corrupt, kill, lie, and steal just to come in and save people so they can get paid, those type of people are the worst doing anything to get a coin.) Once Xero and Cynix entered the village they felt a sinister presence coming from an old church, the two also noticed the village smelled of blood and garbage, Xero and Cynix entered the old church and began looking around for that sinister presence "Do you people have any idea what you've done, they won't leave you alone until everyone is dead" King yelled just after his sentence Xero tapped king on the shoulder "Calm down, getting worked up doesn't suit you" Xero laughed a bit before getting serious "In all honesty we could just eliminate them and let the queen go free" unfortunately as soon as Xero was about to attack the scientist he could hear screaming and fighting from outside, just before he could walk outside Kookie ran inside and alerted the group that Karma League was attacking. Xero walked outside the church with the other's he watched as Karma League beat the men and defiled the women Xero's anger grew, "You people should be happy to even be in our presence" The Karma League Guardian said to an innocent child, as he went to slap the child Pain stopped him with incredible speed "Sorry I can't allow you to do that, you've made our leader upset I feel bad" as Pain was speaking a pack of Umigo's appeared to attack the village again things are getting intense this is one hell of a attack.
Xero looked at all the Chao's as civilians began to run into the church on Kookie's command, Xero looked down as all of his dark energy began surrounding the village "Pain, Cynix, you handle those Umigo's King you deal with the soldiers and after that heal the injured I'll handle the big boss and don't go easy!". They all agreed with Xero's words and began getting into position, an arrow flew at Xero dead in but before it could hit him Kookie used a shield she stole from one of the soldiers to block the arrow, Xero looked at Kookie obviously impressed "This is the best way I know to repay your I'm sorry it's all I can do" Kookie said keeping her focus, blocking any arrows that come close to Xero, Pain began running at Sonic speed to keep the Umigo's distracted while Cynix prepared a high level flame attack which didn't take long. Cynix was ready to attack he called out to Pain, "Bring them here im ready!" Cynix yelled "I'm not your lap dog, don't boss me around!" Pain replied as he began laughing and running towards Cynix, the Umigo's followed but just before they could touch Cynix he unleashed a giant wave of fire completely engulfing the Umigo's in crimson flame's killing them all, Pain and Cynix gave each other a high five as brother's and comrades.
Meanwhile King was handling the soldiers that were attacking the village, King used a variety of light attack spell's and light defense spell's to protect the civilian's, "Hey king, do you want to use the combo that saved our lives, hell do you even remember it?" Xero asked king followed by a laugh, King smiled and explained that he did remember, the two of them flew into the sky and targeted each soldier "I count thirty two!" King said to Xero, King prepared himself as Xero began making thirty two portal's with custom destructive light beam's, the beam's began rapidly firing at king but king made a giant light barrier that focused all the beams onto each soldier with perfect aim, the barrier enhanced the damage of the light beam's which were only bright explosions trapped in a barrier that break's on impact.
Once each beam hit it's target, they began exploding one by one destroying everything nearby killing off each soldier Xero and king watched the destruction as Cynix and Pain walked over to the church and stood at the door. "I don't like that I have to do this but what's done is done" Xero said to the group, "We had no other choice plus this is our job so don't feel bad" King replied to Xero before landing next to the other's Xero followed behind, Kookie walked over to Xero and bowed her head sobbing "I'm sorry, and thank you for helping us we are in your debt" King and Pain tapped Brodon on the shoulder King was giving a sinister smile while pain was giving an excited smile "It seems you have to join us now, welcome to our team" King said to Brodon as Brodon gave an awkward grin and walked with them. "How about coming with me" Xero said to Kookie patting her on the head, "Is that really an option?" Kookie asked Xero with an excited expression, "Of course I'll train you to use a blade and I'll have King teach you how to master your skills, trust me you'll be a great addition to the team!" Xero gave Kookie a smile before he began walking off, King, Cynix, Pain, Brodon, and Kookie followed behind him. Xero quickly stopped walking and used his power to rebuild the village and remove the church before continuing to walking, "Destruction can also create, and I seem to do both, let's continue our adventure onward to coremellion!" Xero yelled as he adjusted his jacket.
