"I am not sure." Qiao Meixia gave a slight, indifferent shrug.
"She is our biological granddaughter!" Old Master Jiang's voice dropped, laced with obvious displeasure. "How dare Lukang arrange a public debut of this magnitude without consulting us first?!"
"Calm yourself." Old Madam Jiang instructed softly, placing a hand on her husband's arm.
"How can I remain calm?" Old Master Jiang grumbled.
"Didn't you express a desire to host a grand celebration for Meixia earlier?" Old Madam Jiang reminded him calmly. "We will simply attend the banquet. It is entirely impossible for your third son to omit inviting his own parents."
Old Master Jiang considered her point for a moment before giving a gruff, reluctant nod.
Jiang Nianzu's sharp eyes shifted between his parents and his quiet niece.
