Feeling reassured by her daughter's words, Feng Lan then turned her attention back to Butler Jun.
"Has her original room been cleaned up yet?" Feng Lan asked, wanting to ensure that everything in the main house was being restored properly to its rightful state.
"Yes, Madam. The cleaning crew has already started working on it. However, the process has not been fully completed yet. We still need to replace the broken bed frame and the damaged mattress since they were severely ruined during the incident." Butler Jun explained in detail, keeping his tone professional.
"I understand. Just do whatever needs to be done to restore it." Feng Lan said, finally calming down completely now that a solution was underway.
"Is she seriously still going to live in the same house as us?" Jiang Chinan questioned loudly, his intense displeasure obvious to everyone present in the room.
"Chinan, you cannot destroy her bedroom like that ever again." Feng Lan warned, fixing her son with a strict, stern gaze.
"That's right, Chinan. Remember, you've already been punished by Father because of that reckless incident. If you keep doing foolish things like that, Dad will definitely punish you even more severely next time." Jiang Yanna chimed in right on cue, gently patting Jiang Chinan's head as though he were nothing more than a stubborn child.
"Fine, I will listen to Mom and Sister Yanna, but I really can't stand that blank, expressionless face of hers." Jiang Chinan complained, crossing his arms over his chest in irritation. "Every single time I look at her, I feel like she's looking down on everyone in this family and thinking far too highly of herself."
"I understand how you feel, but regardless of everything, she is still family. If you dislike her that much, then just don't talk to her at all." Jiang Yanna stated, her voice laced with a gentle, placating sweetness.
"I understand." Jiang Chinan nodded, letting out a sharp huff before dropping the subject.

Meanwhile, far away from the toxic atmosphere of the Jiang estate, Qiao Meixia woke up naturally after enjoying two solid hours of deep, undisturbed sleep.
After heading into the bathroom and taking a long, refreshing shower, she finally began to feel genuinely hungry. She left the apartment, planning to head downstairs and find something decent to eat in the area. At the same time, her analytical mind was already busy working. She needed to plan how to completely renovate one of the spare rooms in the penthouse into a highly secure, proper workspace. Later on, once the space was fully prepared, she would contact someone to safely deliver the high-tech equipment and hardware she desperately needed.
With her plans set, she walked out of the luxurious building's grand entrance.
The uniformed security guards who had spoken to her so rudely earlier immediately stiffened and nodded respectfully with deep bows the moment they saw her figure appear in the lobby.
When a hailing taxi finally arrived at the curb, she smoothly stepped inside the passenger seat. She wanted to locate a quiet restaurant first to satisfy her appetite.
The taxi driver this time around was a stoic, middle-aged woman with a serious expression who focused solely on the road. Looking out the window, Qiao Meixia realised she really needed to procure a private vehicle of her own as soon as possible to travel around the city conveniently. She highly doubted that the biased Jiang family would ever willingly provide a decent car for her use anyway.
After arriving at a reputable restaurant down the line, Qiao Meixia paid the fare and walked inside. The polite waiter immediately led her to a quiet, secluded table for one near the back. She sat down comfortably and ordered her meal without any fuss. Since there were not many customers dining in the establishment at this particular hour, it being an odd, quiet period right between the standard lunch and dinner rush times, the kitchen prepared her food rather quickly.
