Chapter 1195: The Chosen One of Negativity.
The death of Azrakar left the three remaining Gods at a disadvantage, and War did not wait for his opponents to reorganize. He advanced, followed by his three brothers, launching a new offensive before Kaelith, Nerath, and Vhalor could establish a defensive formation.
Vhalor was the first target. The God of Shadows tried to disperse his own body to escape the Knights' reach, but Hunger was already moving to block his route. His blades passed through the God's shadow domain, forcing Vhalor to concentrate his manifestation again. This brief interruption allowed War to reach the God.
Gol-goroth descended in a vertical strike, and Vhalor raised a shadow structure to block the sword. The defense held for an instant before breaking apart, and the blade struck the God's shoulder, opening a wound that went through his body.
