Arsan frowned, knowing what she meant, "Right…" He started, his tone low, "You're thinking of leaving us, aren't you."
Amber bit her lip, reaching her shaking fingers out to him but he stepped back," I'm sorry. But it's the only way. The only way to stop it all. All of this, all of it is because of me. I can't help you guys, all I'm doing is hurting you."
"You're leaving us...you're leaving him." Someone said from behind her and Amber's shoulders tensed at the cold tone. She looked over her shoulder to see Indigo, a scowl on her face as she stared down at her feet.
"I know, I'm sorry." Amber furrowed her brows and Indigo only shook her head.
"Forget it." She said, "Arveion's at the Queen anyway, so you'll get to see him and talk to her at the castle if that's what you want. Just please let him off easy, he's really messed up." She turned on her heels, the angriest Amber had ever seen her but that wasn't all. As she turned, Amber didn't miss the gloss of tears lining her eyes.
