Chapter 2 - 2

I woke with alot of pain ..i was having aches all round my body ..the night was so uncomfortable , "Hellen come on out ,it's time for breakfast " mom yelled , i guess i must have woken up late today. breakfast i must say was really delicious ..my mum was a very good cook ,i just couldn't get enough of her cooking ..."today we have to go and look for a new house ,doesn't matter if it's not as big as we wanted .. the idea is to get a place we can call a home " dad said .."i agree with you dad but its going to be really stressful moving all these bags there ..my back ache so much "i told my dad while my brother and mum nodded in agreement. "Mia seems we have new company ..doesn't she look more like your late daughter ,i must say she is really beautiful and priest louis would love having them come to temple .... you know what to do ,they are still naive so they don't know much about this place ..get them to our temple with immediate effect ..it will be good to have new members and the girl could finally be our ride to salvation "Donald had told Mia . Meanwhile dad friend had finally come to our rescue and suggested he took us to the temple to greet the priest and hoped the priest could be generous enough to give us one of the houses the members had given up as a sign that they've decided to stay in the temple for the rest of their lives ..hoping to get unto the ship of salvation ..we got to the temple and immediately i and my brother got this scary feeling about the place ..something about the temple was just not right ."dad do we have to go see the priest for a new building ,can't we just look for a new house ourselves ..we don't need their help."i told my dad i had a lot of reservations about the place and i was sure my brother agreed with me even though he couldn't say so ..my brother had lost the confidence to express himself ,he felt like he would be bullied the moment he says anything ."Hellen don't you worry ..the priest would be very nice to us and he has already agreed to help us get a new building ..once that is done you and your can now start school ." dad said .."Hellen i totally agree with what your father just said ,the priest has just saved us some stress ..the only thing we have to bother about now is arranging the cloth and putting things in order ,then we can worry about your school ."mum said .i could how excited she was so i decided to keep mute and watch how things play out even though i knew the place had a sense of evil surrounding it . We got to meet the father Donald but i couldn't help but noticed how he looked at me with so much lust in his eyes ..which got me scared .."welcome to our temple ..feel at home please the priest would soon join you ..he just has a lot of visitors this days and he conducts prayers so it might actually take a while .please feel at ease ."father donald said ."here with me is the priest secretary ..she is called Mia and she is the one to make sure you get a nice home for you to stay ..the journey must have been a very long one ."he informed us ..dad and mum were so excited ,i didn't want to hurt them by saying i had reservations about the place ..i mean this place might not be so bad after all but i still had goosebumps and a chilled feeling about the place . "God please take this sickness and suffering away from me ,i can't bear it anymore ..i want to live life like every other person ..what wrong have i committed by being born ...please take it away ."henry cried at the altar ..praying ,i finished praying hoping to get answers to my prayers ..i couldn't bear this pain anymore ,i hated watching my parents and sister getting so worried about me because i was not in the best position to take care of myself...i felt a very cold hand on my shoulder ,a very dark presence surrounded me .i turned to only bump into the dreaded priest ..he had a very white hair and white pale skin ..i felt so scared ..looking at his eyes i couldn't even tell what was going on his head he just gave me smile ."you don't need to be scared of me ..i am the great priest of this temple ..the one to take my believers unto the ship of salvation ..the lord answers the prayer of those who believe in him and he would surely give you answers to your prayers..i am called father louis .its nice to meet you." father louis had told me ..we went back together to my family . Seeing the young boy praying so fervently .i knew he needed alot of interventions in his life ..judging by his prayers he was so heart broken ..i tagged along with him while he led me to his family ..on getting there i saw a girl ..she was so beautiful and pure and there i decided she would my wife and the lamb to lead us unto the ship of salvation ...i made a vow to make her mine at all cost ,i just needed to gain the trust of her parents ..i didn't care much about her brother after all he was mentally retarded ..the girl seemed uncomfortable while her parents were not paying attention to their daughter .."hi am father louis ..if you don't mind can we hold this meeting in my office ..this place seem crowded.' i said ..they followed me into the office and wouldn't stop thanking me for allowing them stay in one the houses ."you don't have to thank me so much ..i just what the almighty told me to do as his loyal servant ."i told them ..now the only interest i had in this family was the girl she must be mine ..i got to know their names of the two kids, they were twins named henry and hellen.. My brother came back with a pale looking man ,just staring at him i knew something was not right ..about the priest and the temple as a whole ..he also had the same lust in his eyes as he looked at me ..we followed him to his office, mum and dad were behaving so weird like they were being brain washed or something ..the priest asked a lot of questions we answered them all and he insisted on praying for my brother ...while praying for my brother we all had our eyes closed ,suddenly i felt cold hands rubbing my thigh ..startled i opened my eyes and met the eyes of the priest ..my parents and brothers eyes were tightly closed and they were unaware of what was going on ..i saw a desperate hungry eyes ready to devour me the moment it was given a chance ...now i fear for my family cause i know the visit to the temple would change our lives for ever.
