The letter appeared suddenly on the table. She leaned on the table to pick up the letter.
"What could that be?" Emma wondered."
Her letter stopped glitching the moment she picked it up. The letter reads as though someone is narrating to us it continued saying, "On your next B'day you will be awarded with your mark on the face. Your family members will say the rules thank you and keep waiting" The letter she showed them as she dashed down the hall astonished her parents.
"Mom, I think I got a letter glitching, and it said I would get a mark by my next birthday."
"Oh my dear daughter, we are so happy we conform you will get a red mark for sure." They were so happy to hear the news. It was said that all family members would get the same mark, and they were sure that Emma would receive a red mark so they could live as hunters.
Her parents were happy, but she was not, since it was believed that if you had a red mark, you had to hunt your prey in order to survive. While she has no intention of joining such an absurd endeavor.
"In order to change the ridiculous thing I must meet the founder of the DD town but it is only possible if I get a red mark"
So the first step she has taken in order to change the town was to go according to the rules and become a hunter even though she didn't like it.
She had been adapting to the situation all along. She was getting ready to attend college for her higher studies.
"Everyone listen her we have a new student here. Emma introduce yourself to the class."
Emma started as, "Good morning everyone, my name is Emma Williams, and I was recently got accepted into this town I hope to get along with you all thank you."
Emma joined the class with a round of applause.
"Emma, you can sit with Eva."
"Yes, teacher."
As she walked to sit, she noticed everyone was looking at her. As soon as she is seated teacher continued the class.
"So students next week we have a new student coming and I hope you all will also get along with him as you welcomed Emma to our class."
"Teacher, can you tell us will the new student also be a girl?"
Everyone laughed and the teacher get off the class as the bell rings.
"Hello Eva, I hope to get along with you."
"It's nice to meet you, Emma, and I hope we will become friends soon. I will introduce you to some of my friends here."
"Ya sure."
"Now come on, its already lunch time we should eat something too." Eva took Emma, and they both went to the cafeteria to eat lunch.
"Good morning David, this is my new friend Emma." She turned to Emma and said, " Emma, meet my Best friend David."
The Three became close friends soon.
One day, Emma was getting ready to go to college on the way she got hit by a cycle.
"Hey don't you have any eyes on your face this way is for pedestrians that way is for you all cyclists just go the right way"
The man removes his helmet as soon she started yelling.
"Oh, I am so sorry I was late for going to the college and I lost the direction on the way as well the break won't work now."
"Are you trying to kill me with this stupid bike of yours?"
"No, that's not it I am so sorry and can you please help me with this thing."
He was lying down all the time.
"Oh, let me help you but don't forget that I am only helping you because you "
While helping him get up, she fell onto her back and ended up kissing him on his face. Both got up soon he was smiling thinking he got a kiss from a beautiful lady but she was angry as it was her first kiss she lost her first kiss to somebody she doesn't know.
She ran to the bus stop so she could get to college quickly. She furiously came to class and sat on the bench.
"Emma, what happened to you, your face looks red. Have you got a fever?" Eva checked her temperature.
"I don't think it is a fever. Something happened on your way."
"No, nothing special happened I just got hit by a bicycle. It wasn't worth bothering about."
As Emma and Eva were passing, they heard students whispering about. "Hey do you saw the new student. Oh, my god he is super hot and cute I want him to be in my class."
The bell rang. All the students ran towards their class, as well as Emma and Eva.
"As I told you last week, we will have a new student in our class, so please meet, Noah. Noah, introduce yourself to the class."
Emma glanced up to see the new student. She was surprised to see him. Noah also was surprised to see Emma.
They stared into each other, and Eva dabbed the shoulder of Emma to wake her.
"Eva…" She called.
