The line of control is a line which clearly differentiates the territory of gods and humans. It is an uneven line which is decided through the domain of the regional gods. Some regional gods have mixed domains. Where their territory are the same or they interfere with other regional gods territory.
If they interfere a space is created where only people who are unaffiliated with any factions pass through. The territory doesn't belong to anyone. It just becomes a piece of unoccupied land. And they may face the wrath of the gods of they even dare to use this land.
The army was passing through the regional God of Handicrafts. The God is insanely talented at making sculptures, clothes and anything that requires the use of hands. Their products are auctioned at a very high rate. And there are many nobles who collect whatever the God produces.
Thus his territory consist of aspiring artist and craftsmen. Living in harmony.
Even as the army passed through the area instead of evacuating they got even more motivated and started to base their creations around war and the army.
Finally at the border a plain barren ground shared by 12% by the Handicraft God and the rest by the Heavenly Faction God's. The gods ruling the region are the Twin God's of Strength and Stamina. Travelling through any godly territory is allowed as long as you don't plan to invade their territory.
Because the size of the territory matters more than the quality. (This rule only applies for other regional gods.Humans can use the land freely but only under the discretion of the God).
Finally they exited their vehicle and saw what they were expecting The Heavenly army, consisting of human soldiers rallied from all across the western lands. From all across the western kingdoms.
There seemed to be low ranking angels among their ranks. With the same medical weapons. It doesn seem to be a peace of cake. But there was something off. A feeling that Jay couldn't shake off.
King :
Phoenix, send an disposible envoy.
Phoenix :
Should I send the sentinels.
King :
No just send something very rudimentary.
Phoenix thought for a second and the most rudimentary thing he sent was a drone carrying a hologram projector. It flew through the air covering a great distance before being shot down by an human archer shattering both of its wings and crashi g before them. But the hologram projector was still active and it activated itself and displayed a hologram of the King.
Phoenix :

The hologram which is being displayed scaled up to 10 feet.

King :

Before he could finish his sentence one of the angels threw a spear and shattered the hologram display into pieces.
Angel :

While the angel once again bought those who had doubts on their side. One person had doubt in their mind but couldn't shake it off.
On the flip side, the King was done with rudimentary formalities. And gave the opposition a chance to surrender.
But as expected the opposition is more interested in fighting. But still they waited on the boundary of the Handicrafts God.
The regional God had arrived on the scene alongside his bodyguards.
Handicrafts God :
Respected immortal, I am very happy to have you visit my territory even if for war. For this auspicious moment I have prepared a small gift.
King :

God :

The God presented a sculpture carved out of an wooden block. The wood comes from the Mist God's territory so it's dark. The wood there has a lot of sap stored inside of it.
The sculpture was of a serpent tightly coiling up to a pillar and ascending upwards. And as it coiled around the sap was spilled from the intentionally made minutes holes and dripped. Due to its viscosity it stopped midway and crystallized.
The scales of the serpent were impressively done. And when touched it gave a feeling as if the real scales of a serpent were being touched.
The meaning of the statue is likely to be on the current situation. The serpent might be the head and coiling around the pillar must be him bleeding out the faith and divinity itself. Indicated by the crystallized sap spilling out of the crumbling part of the pillar.
King :
This sculpture what does it represent.
God :
The serpent is the foundation and the pillar is the Heavens that's why the snakes ascend to the top. And it crumbling repents the final nail youre going to hammer.
Jay :
But why a serpent.?
God :
The serpent is the World Serpent Jormungandar. He fought the supposed God of Lightning who was known as the Protector of Peaseants and both killed each other in a very huge battle a two millennium ago.
Jay :
Great, so Norse mythology is officially Canon. Might as well make Jesus Canon now.
Jay had a quick thinking session.
Jay : (thinking)
There are biblical figures angels and all. But their hierarchy is different. And the gods they are serving is polythestic.
Jay asked Phoenix the question.
Jay :
Hey Phoenix, quick question is there a son of God or messenger of God.
Phoenix :
I mean every year a quack appear stating that they are the son of God.
Jay :
Can any of them turn water into wine or walk on water.
Phoenix :
A water element user csn do both of those things for sure.
Walk on water is the basic and turning water into wine. Isn't that big accomplishment as long as you know the grape chemical formula and break some of the water into alcohol.

In world War 2 it was known as Blitzkrieg. Drugging soldiers to enhance their performance, to make them wage war for longer, removing sense of lethargy and tiredness, removing fear and terror. A truly devilish strategy indeed.
But wars here are wage only from sunrise till sunset. So there is no need to wage war in the night. The terms of this war haven't been set yet since no God is ready to descend so easily. But even that was calculated by the head.
The Head sent Jay to check on the preparations to drive the God's out.
Jay went to the camp and asked the soldiers if the fireworks were ready.
The fireworks were aimed straight towards the Heavenly court with the cause of lighting fire in the Heavenly gardens.
And filled with a lot of gunpowder. And with the help of rpg they were shot in the sky at Jay's jurisdiction and when they went above the clouds they exploded in a various colour's.
Jay :
Keep lighting the sky until they don't come down themselves.
Many of the projectiles were intercepted by the angels themselves stationed in the heavens. But their interception was useless as even when intercepted the fireworks burst on contact and spread to a great distance as well as caused a loud noise.
This suggestion came from Jay since he was more familiar with fireworks and as the Bringer of Festivals Phoenix wanted to head this one. But he was assigned somewhere else.
And this trick was very effective thousand of fireworks were in the heavens. The soldiers which came down to stop it were instead intercepted by the dragon slayers.
And as expected the Heavenly court and heavenly fields were on fire due to the excessive fireworks. The God's retaliated by first forcing storm upon their territory but as always this was also thought off and high powered and high gunpowder with water proof materials were now being used. Cluster rockets which once pierced the clouds would split into many fireworks. To further piss them off some cluster rockets were set with sensors which could detect structures and change their trajectory towards the location.
The Godess of water created a huge amount of water and threw it down the heavens. The water was enough to was out the camp which was spread across half a kilometer.
Phoenix used the bow of matra and shot arrows and Jay used his flames to force evaporate. Earth magicians used their magic to create an elevated platform to divert the excess water. The water magicians quickly used their mana to dispel the magic and in a matter of seconds. The Heavens tear had completely evaporated. The angels were doing damage control. And the Gods were silent at first. But enough was enough.
This forced the God's to descend on the land themselves. Thus without any bloodshed they were able to force them to descend.
And now the real negotiation start.
