1987, On the one snowy day I saw her... A girl wearing a red muffler along with a red sweater. she was so cute and beautiful for my age(though she was a 6 year old girl). I still remember I was crying so loudly when I dropped my sweet potato and it was then when I saw her.
she saw me crying so shecame towards me and scolded "you're so big yet you're crying, this is shameful"
I stopped crying and said to her;
"I am a child and I am only seven years old also I was crying because I dropped my favourite sweet potato. you would have also cried if it happened with you "
"No I wouldn't have cried " she replied.
"why, you don't like sweet potatoes ,like everyone loves sweet things and you're saying that you don't like them. Even my dad likes them...
she smiled and at me said "I am a girl how could I like sweet potato"
"so girls don't eat sweet potato" i asked with curiosity.
"yes, but you shouldn't ask girls those things, okay" she said in her sweet voice.
and to her sweet voice how could I say no....
by gesturing my fingers, I said okay.
After that, I took a first step and asked her name.. "By the way I still don't know your name?"
she replied me with her beautiful voice "I am Sara. Yosuke sara and what about you"
"I am ren. sataou ren.." I replied.
After that we both started to know each other. we started to play together. sometimes she came to my house to play and sometimes I went to her. I even knew her family, consisting of hermom and dad. and they were here because of the transfer of her dad.. but we didn't care about the adult world. we were only us.. like we were inseparable.
but like happiness, doesn't last long. Sara's dad got transferred again and in this time he was time he was transferred from Tokyo to Nagoya..
I didn't knew what to say at the time like she was my one and only friend and she was also going to leave me...
"Don't worry, we will meet again when we will grow into adult" sara said.
when I heard her saying that I was happy as well as sad. Happy because she assured we will meet again and sad because we have to separate for many years.. at that time I didn't knew what should I say to her. like If I will be sad and showed some tears then she would scold again.
so I said " umm, we will surely meet again at that time I will be a very rich person and the one who would never let you be sad. but how will we both know each other;" I queried her.
I don't know why but she was like doraemon who have solution to everything. she gave me her father bracelet. it had red and black bead with a specific symbol of drawn heart inside was the photo of her. she also said I will now know you with this. even if we are separated.
I was upset bcoz she will only recognise me but I won't. that's why I also presented her a beautiful Swan necklace with a beautiful Swan because it reminded me of her as she was as white and pure as of that Swan... now we both can recognise each other I said.
she smiled. I was quite upset but seeing her like that made me feel better.. and we both bid farewell after that...
AFTER 25 YEARS....
Noooo, shouted ren and he woke up from his dream...
"I saw this dream once again, when will I be able to meet you. Look, I even fulfilled my promise. Now I am the CEO of the one of the biggest company of Japan named SWAN which I kept this name in your memory.. but where are you I even searched you in many places but still cannot find you.. please come to me soon..." holding his tears, looking at the bracelet he told himself.
