Chapter 7 - Shadows in the Crimson Room

The setting sun cast its final rays, painting the room in a deep crimson hue, the red light creating long shadows that danced like specters across the walls. The old furniture and peeling wallpaper seemed to come alive with an eerie glow, as if the room itself was awakening with anticipation.

The intruders froze in their tracks, their eyes widening in disbelief at the sight before them. Nara's body emanated an otherworldly radiance, her aura pulsating with raw power that seemed to bend the very fabric of reality. The blue light surrounding her intensified, making her appear like a mythical being from ancient tales.

The room trembled, as if reacting to the sheer force of Nara's power. Dust and debris fell from the dilapidated ceiling, adding to the chaotic scene. The cracked walls and worn-out floorboards seemed to creak in response to the surge of energy that filled the room.

The intruders, who had entered with malicious intent, were now paralyzed with fear. The cocky sneers on their faces turned into expressions of bewilderment and dread. The menacing grins they once wore were now replaced with uncertainty and anxiety.

"Huh?!" one of the intruders stammered, his voice quivering as he took a step back, away from Nara's intense glare.

"What the...," the leader trailed off, unable to find the right words to articulate the sheer astonishment he felt.

"She... She is a divine user?" he stuttered, his voice so low that it was barely audible over the sound of his heart beating a mile a minute.

Nara's eyes locked onto him, her irises shining with an ethereal blue light that seemed to pierce through the crimson hue around them.

There was a coldness in her gaze, a glint of determination that sent shivers down the intruders' spines. It was as if her very stare held a power that could freeze them in place.

The blue light in her eyes seemed to flash like distant stars, and for a moment, the room appeared to transform into a celestial realm, the old furniture and torn walls fading away into a sea of shimmering cosmic lights.

The intruders felt a chill creeping up their spines, and their breaths caught in their throats. They couldn't move their legs. Their feet were glued to the floor. It was as if someone had cast a spell on them.

The leader's bravado wavered as he struggled to maintain his composure. His voice trembled, but he tried to muster some semblance of defiance. "You think you can scare us with your parlor tricks?" he sneered, trying to hide the fear that gnawed at him.

But Nara's expression remained unchanged, her resolve unyielding. "I'm not playing games," she retorted, her voice cutting through the air like a razor. "You and your friends have two options: leave now and never return, or face the consequences of your actions."

Her eyes blazed with determination as she tightened her grip on the intruder's arm just slightly, and he let out a pained scream. The sound echoed in the room, blending with the trembling of the walls and the faint scent of fear that permeated the air.

The other intruder beside him gasped, his own expression now a mix of horror and disbelief. He couldn't believe what he was witnessing—the power Nara wielded was beyond anything they had anticipated.

"N-No way..." he stuttered, taking a step back, his voice trembling with uncertainty.

Nara let go of the intruder's arm, and he fell to his knees, clutching his injured limb. The room seemed to vibrate with a newfound tension, each breath charged with an electrifying energy.

The leader's fear, momentarily quelled by anger and pride, surged back with vengeance. "How dare she..." he thought, gritting his teeth.

"You think you can disgrace me and my gang, huh?" he spat, trying to regain some semblance of control.

With a swift motion, he ran toward Nara, his hand clenched into a fist, a faint red aura flickering around it. But before he could reach her, he was stopped in his tracks by an unexpected force.

A blur of motion, and the leader was sent flying backward, crashing into the wall with a resounding thud. He slumped to the ground, his aura extinguished like a flickering flame.

The room fell silent, save for the leader's groans of pain. Yohan stood with a calm expression, his finger still extended from the flick that had sent the intruder tumbling.

"Hah, that was pathetic," Yohan remarked with a tinge of superiority, his eyes gleaming with confidence. "Did you really think you stood a chance against us?"

The leader struggled to rise to his feet, his bravado now completely shattered. His face was contorted with pain and humiliation, but his eyes still burned with defiance.

"You... you'll pay for this!" he growled, trying to mask his fear with false bravado.

Lee Jin's eyes widened in shock and disbelief as he watched the scene unfold before him. The intruders, who had once seemed like menacing threats, were now at the mercy of his friends' extraordinary powers. He couldn't help but think, 'Are they really the ones I know? The ones who couldn't even lift a wooden chair?'

His mind raced with a whirlwind of emotions and thoughts. Nara and Yohan had always been there for him, but this was a side of them he had never seen before—a side that wielded powers beyond his wildest imagination. It was both awe-inspiring and unsettling.

He looked at Nara and Yohan's backs, silhouetted against the crimson light, and then at the leader, now struggling to stand up after being thrown into the wall. It was hard to reconcile the image of his friends with the fierce and formidable beings before him.

Before Lee Jin could fully process his thoughts, Nara's voice cut through the tense air, interrupting his internal struggle. "Pay?Huh?" she responded, her voice steady and unwavering. "That is only if there is a next chance,"

She raised her hand, fingers half-opened, and the leader, still trying to regain his footing, was pulled toward Nara as if by an invisible force. His eyes widened with fear as her magic powers gripped his neck, rendering him immobile.

Nara's expression remained stern, her resolve evident in every fiber of her being. "For now, I will just beat you enough to ensure you won't come after us again," she declared, her voice firm but tinged with a hint of sorrow.

The room seemed to hold its breath as Nara's power hummed in the air, an almost tangible force surrounding them all. The old furniture and peeling wallpaper bore witness to the unfolding confrontation, as if they, too, were in awe of the cosmic power at play.

Lee Jin couldn't tear his eyes away from the scene, his heart torn between concern for his friend's safety and amazement at their newfound strength. He had never seen Nara so determined, so fierce. It was as if she had tapped into an ancient well of power that had been dormant within her.

Yohan stood beside Nara, his presence unwavering, and though he said nothing, his eyes spoke volumes of support and trust. Together, they were an unstoppable force, and Lee Jin couldn't help but feel a surge of pride and admiration for his friends.

The leader struggled in Nara's grasp, his face turning red as he gasped for breath. In that moment, he realized the futility of his actions. He had underestimated them, and now he paid the price.

Nara's voice broke through his thoughts, cutting through the tension like a sharp blade. "Remember this as a warning," she said, her voice firm and unwavering, even as she tightened her grip.

With a slow, deliberate movement, Nara's free hand clenched into a fist, and a faint, pulsating aura surrounded it. The power emanating from her grip seemed to hold the weight of the entire room, and the intruder still struggling in her grasp gasped for air, feeling the force pressing down on him.

Meanwhile, the other intruder who had been standing beside the one with the broken arm suddenly collapsed onto his backside, his eyes wide with shock and fear. It was as if Nara's sheer presence had overwhelmed him, leaving him unable to stand on his feet any longer.

Lee Jin's mind was a whirlwind of emotions as he watched Nara's powerful display. He couldn't believe what he was witnessing—the immense power Nara wielded, the room trembling with the weight of her abilities.

Nara's expression remained resolute, her blue eyes glowing with a fierce determination that sent shivers down Lee Jin's spine.

Her face, once familiar and gentle, now appeared almost ethereal, as if she had tapped into a wellspring of ancient power. Her eyes seemed to hold the wisdom of ages past, and Lee Jin couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence and trepidation.

She spoke again, her voice carrying a commanding tone that seemed to echo through the room. "You wanted to play with young master? Huh? Is that it?" Her words were like a blade, slicing through the air with precision.

The intruder, still struggling in her grasp, could only manage a weak nod, fear written all over his face. He had underestimated Nara, and now he was facing the consequences of his actions.

Nara's grip on him tightened, and her free hand clenched into a fist once more, the pulsating aura intensifying. The room seemed to hold its breath, the air heavy with tension as Nara prepared to deliver her final message.

"If so, then let me show you a living play of hell," Nara declared, her voice unwavering, and the intruder's eyes widened in fear, his body trembling as he awaited her next move. The room was engulfed in silence, the very air thick with anticipation, as the fate of the intruders hung in the balance.
