Waveshot's lawyer was a middle-aged woman with long brown hair. She quickly went into the interrogation room, asking for privacy. She remained in there for nearly 15 minutes before Ning and Larissa entered.
"I have advised my client to not answer any of your questions at the present," the lawyer said.
"That's your prerogative," Larissa said as she sat down. "And mine is to ask your client some questions, which he may or may not choose to answer. So, to keep things simple, I'll start with this."
She turned toward Waveshot. "Was it you that attacked Grimhide Chak, the ghoul in his apartment building on the northwestern side of the city, around 3:30 in the morning?"
Waveshot remained silent.
Larissa waited for a bit, and when she did not get any answer, she shrugged and moved on.
"Why did you attack me and my fellow detective when we were outside of your apartment, sir Waveshot?" she asked.
Once again, the man remained silent.
