The underground lake trembled violently, shaking off bits of rocks and stirring up the lake enough that even the sea creature shrank away. Lord Thanses had reacted to his sister immediately.
"Vremeya…" he growled, letting his aura shake his surroundings. He would not let the duo be threatened when he was there. This was the reason he had declined every request made by the other Immortals to meet Noah and Erolia.
Naturally, they had all noticed Noah's arrival on the dark continent, but he had only granted Vremeya—the Immortal of time—access.
"These are my guests. You will not threaten them within my domain." His voice sounded more like a beastly growl than human words. Terrifying.
Vremeyas' vessel locked eyes with Thanses, and those purple gems for eyes appeared to contemplate violence before abandoning the thought. A battle between the two of them was long overdue, but it would cost their mother too much. She chose peace.
