"The Marchioness is here to see you, lady Hina" Aoi announced to the ever-busy lady who had been cooped up in the study with work.
"Okay, guide her to the viewing pavilion. I'll be right there" Hina replied as she put down some work that had been keeping her occupied, feeling the need to breathe some fresh air for a moment and Rebecca's presence was the perfect opportunity to get away from said work.
Since the displeasing affair with Thomas, Rebecca had been spending a large amount of her free time in the Kudo residence as she visited frequently over the passing weeks. Despite Hina assuring her that the incident with Thomas would not in any way affect their friendship, Hina could feel that Rebecca's frequent visits were somehow related to Thomas; as if she was trying to strengthen their relationship more to ensure that Thomas hadn't made a crack in it. Nevertheless, Rebecca's presence was always welcomed so Hina was glad to have her come often.
