​The main arena lights inside Shibuya's Capital Indoor Arena dimmed softly, giving way to a golden, solemn atmosphere that transformed the massive rink into a temple of ice. Across the surface, where the fine mist of freshly resurfaced ice still lingered from the zamboni, ISU officials laid out the official red carpet leading to the tricolor podium structure.

​The stands roared with electric fervor. Thousands of Japanese and Canadian flags waved across the upper tiers, while the venue's giant screens broadcasted high-definition replays of the night's finest routines. Displays showed the clean entries of Jake's jumps, Zinov's tragic crash on the quad Flip, and Aibek's breathtaking step sequence that had pulverized the historical world record.

​"Ladies and gentlemen," the announcer's voice boomed over the stadium sound system in both Japanese and English, "we begin the victory ceremony for the Men's Free Skating at the Grand Prix Final."
