"You're a pirate?" Kiara questioned with interest. Hers was the first voice to break the silence.
"I am," Calpurnia replied with a haughty expression. "You got a problem with that?"
"Certainly not," Kiara replied with a friendly smile. "I find it fascinating. It's not everyday one has the pleasure of meeting such colorful individuals! If I may ask, who do you pirate for?"
Calpurnia stared long and hard at the noble woman, as though unsure what to make of her. Ace, who as at her side, looked equally impressed. Every one else simply watched, curious to see how it all played out. Eventually, it was Winnifred who spoke up.
"Calpurnia here doesn't have a set sponser," She stated. "She's more of a mercenary than a true pirate, but evidently the more dastardly title tickled her fancy better. What's more, typically she acts as a more imposing cargo carrier, though most wouldn't realize it. Not to say she wouldn't steal your caravan goods if given the opportunity..."
