Outside of Outpost Base No. 6, in the Taboo Forest, Qing Chen carefully wrote a densely packed note, cautiously stuffed it into a bamboo tube, and attached it to the ankle of the eagle in front of him.
After some careful consideration, he removed the note and replaced it with a simpler one.
"Go," Qing Chen said, "Take my message back to the Giant King Court in Kuroharara, and remember to detour around Outpost Base No. 5 to avoid interception."
The eagle let out a long cry, flapped its wings, and shot up into the sky like a whistling arrow, heading back towards Kuroharara.
Qing Chen watched the direction it left, hoping that his conjecture would quickly reach the hands of the King of Giants.
He turned back to the outpost base, unaware that the eagle, flying two hundred kilometers back, was suddenly struck by a beam of laser fired from the higher sky, piercing its head instantly.
The eagle fell, as a large drone descended slowly from above.
