The lonely cloaked figure enjoying the Nightmare's Fang was none other than Ace, or more precisely, the Avatar of Holy Twilight!
After embarking on his journey to the Duskmire Hall to confront the Ghost King with a borrowed knife, Ace separated from his avatar of the Holy Twilight, as this was his most powerful trump card and assurance, in case his life was threatened or he needed an escape route.
Furthermore, Ace knew that if he got entangled with the Evernight Council, and won their trust and infiltrated their headquarters, there still was a chance that he might not find any clues about the Blood Moon, so his Avatar's mission was to search in areas outside the Evernight Council's jurisdiction.
However, before leaving the Myriad Hollow, Ace decided to scout for potential heist targets and compiled a list for the house members. After taking care of the inner-city region, he came to the outer city.
