Ficool

[Opening: Endwalker - Footfalls]

The intro starts with the team responsible for the game having their logo shown, "Creative Business Unit III".

The scene then began as the moon is shown, from the view of the night sky on Etheyris. The scene transitioned into the next scene with clouds in the night passing by, shrouding the previous scene into darkness.

The scene is now showing a part of an armor worn by someone, while apparently wearing a cloak over said armor. Sounds of footsteps could be heard, alongside the clanks coming from the metal links of the armor. The scene slowly goes upwards, from the belt/mid section, then the torso, and then the face of the armor's wearer that's also somewhat covered by the cloak's hoodie.

The scene shifted into another view. The sun shone brightly at the person, as he walked in the direction of the sun, with the camera facing the back of the person at a distance. The sounds of his footsteps could be heard as he walked forward.

The camera then panned towards an area in front of the person, slowly as the person passed by and his armored boots made its mark on the surface of the ground, which is revealed to be white-ish. And on his footprint, the camera shows two words that were printed on it: "Square Enix". The scene then zoomed into those words as it slowly fades into black, before the clouds similar to the first transition could be seen, making the transition into the new scene.

The scene comes into play as the clouds from the transition was followed by drawn clouds that's usually found in maps, with the map of the known world of Etheyris shown. However, the surfaces on the map soon burned, signifying the state of the world at the time: it was facing the second Final Days. Only few spots on the map were left untouched by the fires of the apocalypse.

"The Final Days were upon us." A voice narrated. "The fabric of the star had begun to fray: its lands wrent by tooth and claw."

The following words then appeared: "Title Logo Designer & Image Illustrator - Yoshitaka Amano" before fading after a bit.

.....

The camera pandered closer to the area on the map known as La Noscea, with the transition into the next scene marked by the last few words of the narration and slashes, revealing an Elezen girl in red, appearing to be a Red Mage, seemingly in a fight.

The following words then appeared: "Main Theme Composer & Sound Director - Masayoshi Soken" before fading after a bit.

Her surrounding was lit with fire, as she faced a Terminus beast. She had landed another melee blow with her rapier before jumping back and unleashed a Verholy, killing the beast. As she gazed upon another beast near the previous one, in the midst of casting another spell towards the beast, she was blindsided by another Terminus beast coming from her left, throwing her off the ground and caused her to roll on the ground, dropping her weapon. She managed to get up momentarily, before placing her hand to her side, clearly injured and incapable of reaching the weapon in time. She grits her teeth as the beast whipped its tail at her, seemingly about to kill her.

The following words then appeared: "Lead Story Designers - Banri Oda ; Natsuko Ishikawa" before fading after a bit.

The sound of steel cutting through flesh could be heard, as a sword severed the beast's tail. The camera pans back a little, showing the source of that slash: the Warrior of Light, clad in the resplendent Reverence armor, with the sword Lightbringer on his right hand and Hero's Shield on his left. His face hardened as he brought the shield in flames forward against the beast's head, while she was shocked by his arrival for a moment. As the beast was thrown upwards a bit, a set of nouliths came to the front of the camera up close before going to the beast's side as it unleashed a barrage of red blasts at the beast in concert, before flying upwards as the beast was finally downed and it returning to its owner, revealing to be a twin to the Elezen girl, garbed in blue.

The following words then appeared: "Lead Game Designer - Yuichi Murasawa" before fading after a bit.

"Alisaie!" He called her after looking back at the girl.

He knelt as he began to heal her with magic. "Are you alright?" He asked.

The following words then appeared: "Lead Quest Designer - Takashi Kudo" and "Lead Quest System Designer - Toshiaki Suzuki" before fading after a bit.

"I can look after myself, you know." She almost scoffed at him, but nonetheless accepted her brother's aid.

She stood up as she readied her rapier. "And I've had enough of this rabble!" The two beside her also readied themselves for the remaining beasts. "Come on!" She yelled as the boy sent forth his Nouliths.

The scene changed with fire as its transition. It then showed a place being under attack by Terminus beasts of a different kind, one that flies on the air and in quite the numbers. With an ominous tower on an island nearby, the place was under heavy attack from the beasts, as they shower the land with foul magicks, destroying various landmarks and locale.

The following words then appeared: "Battle Director - Kei Sato" before fading after a bit.

"As the chaos spread, the stars seemed doomed to unravel." The voice narrated yet again, as the land was devastated by the beasts.

"And yet..." The voice paused as the sky swirled to form a hole, with some of the beasts looking at it. And from that hole within the clouds of thunder, emerged a fearsome dragon with its rider. "...there were those who stood in defiance of that fate." The voice continued as the dragon blasted its fire breath, scattering the beasts near the ground.

The following words then appeared: "Battle Content Director - Masaki Nakagawa" before fading after a bit.

The dragon deftly flew as its rider then jumped into the clouds, before performing a Stardiver, targeting the remaining beasts on the ground. The ground shook as the lance, accelerated by the multiple purple rings, rapidly dives onto the surface, causing the beasts to flew back from the sheer blast of the skill. The dragon landed near the man as the clouds of dust settled.

"The hour has come, Vrtra." The Elezen man proclaimed as he readied his lance. "It's all or nothing!"

.....

The following words then appeared: "Lead Level Designer - Arata Takahashi" before fading after a bit.

The dragon then condensed the breath within its mouth as it fired a blast of superheated breath in blue-ish white. This cued the scene to change as the camera zoomed out, showing a map of the world seemingly in flames, on a table with a rather grotesque aesthetic.

The following words then appeared: "Art Team Leads - Yusuke Mogi ; Shinya Ichida" before fading after a bit.

Meanwhile, a man in blood red robe observed the burning map with a smile, before going into the elevator, leaving the room that featured a similarly grotesque aesthetic as well, very much saying the same for the rest of the building. As the green light of the elevator rapidly ascends, the camera follows it as well, revealing glimpses of the disturbing aesthetics the place has. The elevator doors opened as the occupant arrived at his destination, showing to be the top of the building, with a throne on it. As the man walked away from the elevator and towards the throne, an imperial airship could be seen going down in flames, with the city below similarly in flames and ruins as well, to the sight of whoever was sitting on the throne.

The following words then appeared: "Lead Character Concept Artist - Ayumi Namae" and "Lead Character Artist - Yuji Mitsuishi" before fading after a bit.

The man goes down a few steps before coming upon the throne.

"The stage is set." The man remarked. "But will our player deign to play their part..."

The following words then appeared: "Lead Animator - Takanobu Miyazawa" and "Lead Technical Artist - Tatsuya Okahisa" before fading after a bit.

A blonde person could be seen sitting on the throne, from the view of the elevator's direction. The camera moves in as it almost reveals the face of the one on the throne, before immediately transitioning using the part of the throne that obscured the face to the camera. It then switched to a man with an ash-blond hair and wearing the Bodyguard armor set along with the Lionheart gunblade on his back, leaning on the wall, seemingly waiting for someone before he unfurled his arms and stood away from the wall, as said someone arrived.

"You took your time." The man scoffed.

A light-gray haired Elezen garbed in the Soothsayer's robes appeared, being the person the ash-blond man was waiting for.

The following words then appeared: "Lead Background Artist - Yoshiki Takanashi" and "Lead Cutscene Artist - Masaki Imamura" before fading after a bit.

"'Tis as we feared. The respite afforded this land was but fleeting." The elezen sounded reprehensive. "The end draweth nigh!" He gasped as he and the gunbreaker looked to the skies.

The following words then appeared: "Lead VFX Artist - Yoshinori Ogura" and "Lead UI Artist - Yoichi Seki" before fading after a bit.

The camera ascends rapidly, with the birds flying in the city being shown, before the scene changes back to the map, but this time, it was above the location of the city was. It was noted as Radz-at-Han, with the region being Thavnair. Compared to much of the world on the map, Thavnair seemed to have less fire. The camera briefly shows Thavnair, before zooming in as it "flew" above the Eorzean territory and towards the region marked as the Northern Empty, and the city that was marked on the map as "Old Sharlayan".

The scene changes with a shine of light, as it transitioned into the real version of the city. The face of the statue of Thaliak was the first thing shown, before the camera zoomed out as it showed a beautiful city, all of its buildings in white, with some vegetations accentuating the city's breathtaking view.

The following words then appeared: "Lead Engineers - Mitsuru Kawahara ; Keisuke Tanaka" before fading after a bit.

The camera flew closer into the city, passing by the city's ports and the people walking below, before coming up at the city's Aetheryte, which has a unique design compared to the ones seen at other places in the world. The camera then flew rapidly to the west, towards a grand library of sorts. Rows and rows of bookshelves, each having a book on a certain subject. And that was the fully showed top floor, with other floors could be seen as the camera delved below and into a seemingly restricted location through the vents, given the dust and the chains on the large wooden door.

Through the impossibly small crevice, the camera then gave the view of a Miqo'te, garbed in red and has a red ponytail hair, seemingly reading a book that may just be restricted.

"I knew it." The man said as the camera orbited slowly to the view of his face, with the book in question also being shown in detail.

"This star still has secrets to tell." He murmured as his eyes moved rapidly reading the book.

The following words then appeared: "Lead Game Programmer - Kiyotaka Akaza" and "Lead UI Programmer - Masaki Asakura" before fading after a bit.

"Take care, my friend." He said, as he seemingly gazed upwards.

The camera then rapidly orbits and changed views into a chamber of sorts, with footsteps being in view as the people in the chamber seemed to notice the owner of the footsteps. A black garb and white tail could be seen going down the stairs. An elezen with white hair looked at the new arrival with a displeased frown. A lady Miqo'te, garbed in black and fur on the collars of her garb, holding her staff, came to the front of the elezen's podium.

"So..." She said, posed her question almost tauntingly with the following. "Sharlayan would keep its counsel while the world is lost to ruin?"

The elezen pressed his hand on the map of the known world.

The following words then appeared: "Lead Non-Combat Content Programmers - Kenji Chujo ; Shuhei Shiota" before fading after a bit.

"It would." He said before lifting his hand. "Come what may, we shall live on."

.....

The man would curl hand into a fist, then stared at the lady with narrowed eyes. "We must." He said in abject certainty.

The back of the lady was shown to the camera, with her prominent white hair on scene, before the camera rotates to show the lady's face.

"Do as you must then. But we Scions will fight, until the heavens fall, until our last breath!" She declared seemingly in defiance, as she tapped her staff to the ground.

The camera panned upwards, showing the chamber in question. It bears a similar arrangement in design to the symbol on the city's Aetheryte. The sound of her staff echoed the chamber, with the scene transitioning into a different one as the camera seemingly flashed upwards.

The scene shows the man who sat on the grotesque throne. A blond long-haired Garlean sat on the throne, with what seems to be his weapon, a Gunscythe, leaned on the throne's side. Raising one feet above the other, with a rested head, he watched the view of the burning city without a glint of humanity in his eyes.

The following words then appeared: "Client Systems Engineering Supervisor - Mamoru Oyamada" and "Lead Client Programmer - Hiroshi Furushima" before fading after a bit.

The camera zoomed in on his face, showing his amused smile, as he then stood up from his throne and walked forward, bringing along his scythe with him. The camera showed his back, as he gazed towards the moon in the sky, with his scythe resting on his shoulder. The man in blood red robes behind the throne was next on the camera's view.

The following words then appeared: "Production Manager - Shoichi Matsuzawa" before fading after a bit.

The scene then changed back to the dragon, Vrtra, and his partner, the lance-wielding Elezen, as said Elezen looked to the sky as well. Then, the scene changed again to show the light gray-haired Elezen in Thavnair once more, seemingly gazing at the sky for one moment before walking towards a certain direction, with the gunbreaker man seemingly holding his breath. The scene then changed to the red-garbed Miqo'te man, who's seemingly gazing upwards as well, before the scene changed to the lady Miqo'te walking away with a fierce look on her eyes and face. The scene then went back to the Garlean, who had a menacing smirk on his face, with his eyes firmly looking at the moon.

The following words then appeared: "Global Community Producer - Toshio Murouchi" before fading after a bit.

"Past the far edge of fate…" The voice narrated, as the camera zoomed into the Garlean's eye, with the moon in the eye's reflection.

The following words then appeared: "Assistant Producer - Nao Matsuda" before fading after a bit.

The scene then changed again, with the red eyes of the man on the moon seemingly reflecting the sun in the far away. The camera zoomed out slowly to show the man's face, before becoming rapid as the man turned around to see the First Beast emerging from the ground behind him, ready to kill him with its bite.

"...rings blade dark and light…" The voice continued as clouds of dust scattered as the beast was seemingly stopped, with the man's shield holding the upper jaw of the beast, while slashing with his sword, cutting the beast in half horizontally.

The following words then appeared: "Assistant Director - Tsuyoshi Yokozawa" before fading after a bit.

Light emerged from the mouths on the beast's body as it turned into motes of light. As the beast disintegrated, the camera showed the Lightbringer, with its luster shining from the skill used earlier. The man looked up, before standing proper, as the camera shows his back.

"Telling the coming of the end." The voice ended its narration as the man turns around, his cape fluttering to the wind, with the planet in the background behind him.

The following words then appeared: "Producer & Director - Naoki Yoshida" before fading after a bit.

The camera then zooms out, as it showed the surface of the moon before showing the moon eclipsing the planet, as it transitioned into the Endwalker's logo, with the words "Endwalker" being the prominent title, while below it was "Final Fantasy XIV" having the subtitle "Online" as well.

The scene then fades to black, with the following words appearing:

"Written by Keywielder.", with below it a disclaimer statement, saying: "Bleach and Final Fantasy XIV belongs to their respective holders. All rights, aside from the character of Kurenai Shugo and Gurenbana, are reserved."
