His free hand caught Lu Xingzhi's wrist—in the present—while his past self dissolved into darkness.
"You can't ambush me in my own memories," Yun Lintian said.
He yanked, hurling Lu Xingzhi forward through time—flinging him five seconds into the future, where his own past attack collided with himself.

The temporal paradox detonated, shredding the fabric of the domain.
Lu Xingzhi reformed from the chaos, his body flickering like a faulty illusion. "Not bad. Show me what you got."
