Seth stopped writing. He went over what he had scribbled down.
[Oh, this feels like I am whining], he thought.
Seth thought about squeezing the paper and throwing it into the paper bin close by, but he decided against it.
"I am going to pour out my heart because this is the only time I would say all these to Ruby. If she rejects me after this, then that is it", Seth said to himself.
[What if she rejects you?], Seth thought. He pondered on that thought, then shrugged. "Life would go on", he said, "But painfully", Seth finished with a sad smile on his lips.
