Before the Annual General Meeting started, Mel asked Max to check Mario's condition in the basecamp.
She was supposed to be at base camp today to visit Mario, but now she's under house arrest by Andrew. So, she'll just have a video call with him. After all, Mario's condition is still severe. He can't be visited directly.
"Boss, Mr. Mario is conscious, and his mental condition has begun to stabilize." Max's voice sounded in her ear. Instantly she smiled happily.
She quickly typed on her laptop to start a video call with Mario in the treatment room at XTeam basecamp.
"Yoo, brother!! You look so terrible, huh!" Mel chirped even though her heart was aching because she knows how terrible his current condition was.
Part of his face was wrapped in bandages, his eyes were swollen and blue. She also saw one of his arms using an arm sling, half his body covered in bandages. Anton said all his nails were pulled out, and several parts of his body were stabbed and skinned.
