Chapter 159 - Cleared.

Splinter shoved his sword into Ocean's mouth, stopping her from speaking. "What…a pain in th ass! You really…were strong. You managed to actually hurt me. Does that mean…I can handle those two?"

Splinter looked over to see the twins walking towards him with smiles across their faces. "Nice shot, brother!"

"Ha! Don't you dare compliment me! Did you see what this crazed animal did?!"

(These two…are incredibly strong! Even I…wouldn't wanna fight them together.)

Splinter thought as he removed his sword and wiped the blood from it.

"What now?" Minus asked as he leaned against a thick tree.

"Now…we find my family." Splinter said as he exhaled.

Sendra could hear the footsteps approaching from behind her. "Mama, help me!!! Don't leave me!!"

Sendra's eyes bolted open, she gasped for air and looked around frantically. Jade and Summer both were sleep on the opposite side of the area from each other. Tank, the massive being sat in between them and was staring at Sendra.

"That child." Tank said. Sendra looked up at the knight.

"Who was…that child screaming?"

"You…you can hear my dreams?"

"Dream? That's what you mortals call that? Then…yes, I can see and hear your dreams. Very loud…very dark…very….lonely."

Sendra pulled her knees to her chest and pushed against a tree."the child was my own. I…I did something awful to them….so awful."

"A child? I see…."

"What…what do to call dreams?" Sendra asked.

"I call them a nocturnal vision. They all have meaning…even if they seem random. The visions…humans, akies, beast, everything in this reality have visions. Some live for it. Die for it. Others…will cling to that vision, in hopes to someday achieve their goals or to make that vision a reality. Dreams…certainly are interesting places to go when sleeping, Sendra."

Sendra leaned over and lowered her head, letting her hair cover her face. "Do you…have a dream? A dream and a goal, Tank? Do you really think…that dreams have meaning?"

Tank continued to sit in silence for a moment. "I've never…in my existence thought of having a dream or goal. I exist…only to serve the being who has earned the power of-"

"You…aren't an ability, Tank. You're…a person."

Tank recalled his second time meeting Adisa. (You're not MY ability or power. You have free will, Tank. You are my comrade…not a tool.)

"After this is over, I want you to tell me your goals and dreams. I'd love to hear it, really."

"Hmm…perhaps. However, when I'm away, it's more like not being born. I simply am in darkness…not existing for a while."

"Oh-"

"However. Being that my master is awakened, I…cling to this small little light within my dark place. I can feel, see, smell, taste, even share the same dreams he has. It's almost like…we are slowly becoming one. I didn't feel this way with my first master. Adisa, is truly…quite the character."

"What is it he feels all the time? What do you see in HIS dreams?!"

"….suffering….pain….betrayal…darkness….and hope."

"Hope? In a world like this, why would he…have hope?"

"Adisa has grown. Mentally he is almost a different person. He still feels the rage that was casted upon him by his peers, but he still…wants one to happen."

"What are you getting at?"

"Remember this, Sendra. When the five beams of light grow bright, the great dark sky will plummet and fall upon earth. Bursting it open, revealing a new world from within, a new….system."

Sendra sighed and slammed her head back. "You and these little clues. You never get to the point. But, I think I get it. Adisa…he's gonna-"

Tank stood up and turned his head, looking far beyond. "What a powerful energy. Headed this way." Tank said as he dragged his axe on the ground. "Where are you going?! Shouldn't we wake these two up?"

"No. Leave them. I not know what that is approaching. Stay here and protect the two kids." Tank said as he slowly walked away into the distance.

Jade thumped her foot on the ground repeatedly. She began biting her nails and continued to stare at the door. "Colt." Jade said.

"Yes?"

"How long has it been?"

"About 3 hours." Colt said in a low tone.

"Tsk!" (If I'm not back within one hour, I didn't make it.) "no…you didn't-"

"I wouldn't go talking too much with her, Colt." Jack said as he wrapped his arm around Colt's shoulders. Jade turned around locked eyes with the man. "You know your mother's name, right?" Jack asked as he glared down at the boy.

"Piss off, Jack." Jade said as she stepped towards the two. "It's just a simple question, Jade. No need to act grumpy. Did you know…Jade knew your mother?! They were so very close…VERY close-"

"I said…piss off." Jade said, now holding her sword to Jack's neck. "We both know…you ain't killing anyone here." Jack said in a more serious tone and demeanor. The mood shifted as everyone looked at the three.

"Jack…I promise you…you WILL see your wife again! Now…piss off before I make the reunion short!"

"Little- let's have at it! Right here and now!!" Jack said as Jade was about to slide her sword across his throat.

"STOP!!" Colt yelled, pushing the two apart. Colt looked up at Jack. "Is it true…that you know my father?"

"….yeah."

"Enough of this! I'm going to go look for Adisa!" Jade said as she marched towards the door. Flow stood in her way and held out his arm to stop her. "You'll die if you go. I'll be the one to go and look for him."

"I don't trust you to be the one to go and look for him!"

"What's that supposed to mean? I don't have any hate towards-"

"It's not about hate! It's about…actually trying to find him. He's not dead…I'll look for him. Get out of the way!"

"You need to send a human. Not one of you guys." Rogue said as he stood up and walked towards the door. "No harm shall come to the boy while I'm around him and find him. You…all of his comrades have my word." Rogue said.

"They've only known you for what? Not even an hour? I can trust-"

There was suddenly a faint knock at the door. (Don't open it no matter what.)

"….screw it!"

Jade opened the door to see a beautiful and terrible sight at the same time. Adisa sat on the ground, resting his head against Rala's thick and long sword. He was covered in blood, some of his hair missing, one eye gone, fingers missing, burned marks, claw marks all over his body, and his shortness of breath.

Behind him, was a beautiful land with fresh air, a cold wind breeze, and grass that went on for miles and miles on end, blowing with the wind an th bright sun shining down on everyone.

(Adisa really….)

"You…damn fool! What happened out there?!" Jade asked as she ran over and held Adisa up. "Colt, you can use your powers, right?! Heal him! Heal Adisa!"

Colt for a moment was stunned, but immediately snapped out of it and began healing Adisa.

(….this boy….is truly magnificent!) Rala thought with a smirk on her face. She walked over and towered over Adisa and Jade. "My weapon." She said.

"Heh. Thanks, Rala." Adisa said as he tossed the weapon at her feet. "The zone…is cleared. Now we need…to…." Adisa passed out while Jade held onto him. "Give him to me." Rala said as she reached towards Jade. Jade used her forcefield to stop Rala's hand. "Child, if you don't let me take him, he will surely die. He needs to go…to the shadow dimension."

"How can he die if he's already been healed?"

"There is more to this stuff than just using aura to heal someone of his caliber. Hand him over."

Jade handed Adisa over to Rala. The knight stood tall, holding Adisa in one hand while she looked around the area. "It's clear to explore and have people enter this zone. However, that doesn't mean the king's army won't soon make foot here. You all need to hurry up and get the others together." Rala said as she disappeared into the shadow realm.

"It would've made since to just use the realm and teleport everyone here, right?" Elizabeth asked.

"She wasn't given the order." Jade said as she stood up and looked up at the sun. "Where do we start?"

******

"I'll keep you lot alive…only for amusement purposes." The man said.

"F-Finian…you…you damn-"

"I already told you…I don't know what name." The man walked over Jerome and proceeded to walk away. "The next time we meet…I won't spare even one of you trash."

Aubrie, Bane, and Jerome all passed out inside of the massive crater in the ground. Roars and screams approached them. "I…have…have to move. Damn it…MOVE!!!"

Jerome tried to lift himself, but his body wouldn't budge an inch.

(Is this…is this really how I go out? NO….not yet! You have…to get…your brother!!)

Jerome was suddenly casted into darkness. He floated, like he was in a ocean of darkness. (This is…)

"Hey, mortals. I am Rala…a knight from Adisa."

******

(It would seem…that other currents take place even in this realm of mortality. Why is it…that such a creature appears here? In this mortal realm?) Tank thought as he slammed his axe down and looked up at the dark ball of energy.

"Need not to worry…child." The orb spoke in a smooth and calm voice, causing Tank's insides to tremble from it's hidden power. "What is something like you…even doing in a place like this?"

"The great calling is coming." The orb replied.

"Impossible." Tank replied.

"Nothing…is impossible, child. The greats have already seen this occurrence form. There shall be another throne for the great one!"

Tank used his axe and sliced the orb away. Tank fell to his knee and immediately looked around. (Another one?! When?! When will the current take place? N…now?! Will it happen here? In this war?!)

******

"Someone…PLEASE HELP US!!!" The man cried out as the creature reached towards him and his daughter. Suddenly, a blue light crossed in between the massive creature and the two humans.

The man looked to his left to see a tall man with blue hair. It was Frost. The creature fell down and lost its life, due to Frost snatching the head off from its thick body. (The plan is falling apart. Where is everyone? Where's…Summer?!)

"Did you see a woman?! She had blond hair, with light green tips. Bright green eyes!"

"N-no, sir." The man said.

(Tsk! Did Adisa…did he…)

Frost turned his back. "You two need to head north. It's…safer that way." Frost said as he flew away, leaving the two alone.

His hair blew in the wind, revealing his dragon tattoo that he was born with. (She hasn't even pushed the button. I need to know your location, Summer! I need to know that you're safe!)

Frost lost his train of thoughts and focused on the sight ahead of him. In front of him, was a mythical beast who had split a woman into two, eating her from the feet to head. "A-Akie!!! H-HAHA!!!" It laughed as millions of flying machines scattered throughout the sky. "Out of my way…you damn scum!" Frost said as he pointed into the air. "Freeze!"
