"Would Grandpa have been able to help me in this instance?" Pearl asked as he handed over a talisman that detailed his White Tiger's Dominating Body technique.
"No," Alex answered. "Your grandfather doesn't have a Wood root. That technique would've been useless for him, even though he has the Dao of Techniques."
"I suppose that is true," Pearl said, letting out a soft sigh. "Well, hopefully you can do something with it, brother."
Alex nodded.
The technique Pearl used was a bloodline technique that only the White Tigers could use. As such, it would be impossible for him to make use of it in any way. Hopefully, he didn't need to cultivate to actually understand how this technique worked.
So long as he managed to simply obtain the knowledge he needed from it, he could alter it to be mixed with the other technique and be used together.
Once Pearl left, Alex began his cultivation session once again, this time using the technique Pearl gave him.
