Alex somewhat understood the situation now.
Instead of both he and the Fire God obtaining their energy from a shared pool based on the number of people who believed in them, the pool was split between the two.
As such, even though Alex could barely obtain any of the energy, the Fire God had no access to his portion of the pool, and had thus suddenly become a lot weaker than he previously was.
'I guess it would make sense for him to try and find me quickly so he could resolve this issue,' Alex thought. Even though he hadn't wanted it, he had gotten himself into this situation, so now he had to find a way out of it.
"Is my life in danger by any chance?" Alex asked the two.
"No, the Fire God won't kill you," the Sky God said. "He may try something of that sort if you were a Celestial who had done such a thing on purpose, but it is abundantly clear that you had no intention of doing this. One couldn't even imagine an Immortal trying such a thing after all."
