The Sky God clearly had no way to trust any of what Alex was talking about.
Godslayer had just been that much of an undying menace throughout the world that she could simply not believe that he had died. He certainly could not have been killed, as there was no way to kill him. So the fact that he might have died because he wanted to was a lot more logical.
However, logical though it may be, it wasn't plausible in the Sky God's mind. After all, she could see no reason why he would do such a thing.
"Do explain to me why you think Godslayer made the choice to die. He had been alive for many thousands of years on his own, and never had he ever decided to die. So why now?"
"Because he changed," Bladedance answered.
"Did he though?" the Sky God asked. "I find it hard to believe that just remembering who he was may have brought any sense of humanity to him. If that was possible, he should have killed himself a long time ago."
