The Sky God's Palace referred not just to the palace of the Sky God, the city where the palace lay, and the world that the Sky God ruled.
So when Alex and the rest arrived at the Sky God's Palace, they were only inside the realm, and had yet to arrive at the city, let alone her palace.
The realm was smaller than most other Immortal realms out there, but that by no means meant that it could be easily dismissed. It was still larger than many Spirit realms, including the 3rd Major Spirit Realm. And considering that it was all just a single continent, there were many more cities around than just the Sky God's palace.
As soon as they arrived, Alex and the rest could feel an increase in the density of Qi around them, as though the whole of the Sky God's Palace had a greater concentration of Qi than any other world out there.
It was certainly the strongest Alex had ever sensed.
