The Wine God took the four names and nodded. "I shall see what new information I have about them and bring them over. But I cannot say for certain there will be anything meaningful," he said.
"I'll take any aid you can provide, senior," Alex said.
The old man nodded and stood to leave. He took the books with him as well.
"Bring my books too now," Bladedance said. "The first of them at least."
"As you say, senior."
The Wine God left.
Bladedance turned toward Alex. "What were the names again?" she asked.
"Somberskull, Deathgrim, Deadcall, and Pallideyes," Alex answered.
"Which one do you think it is?" she asked.
Alex hesitated to answer as he had nothing concrete to go by. Deadcall and Pallideyes didn't appear to fit into his understanding of what the Death Sage he was looking for was. He hadn't the vaguest notion of the Death Sage fighting with corpses or using some eye technique.
