Bai Yanbei stirred out of the crater, a look of fear on his face. His jaw trembled, pain still coursing through it. Had he not used the technique at the right moment, his jaw would've likely shattered in the single hit.
He could not understand how that was possible at all. How could someone so much weaker than him produce a level of strength so much stronger? Something was wrong.
He looked at the others that were staring in shock.
"You idiots!" Bai Yanbei shouted. "Attack!"
Before they moved, Pearl was already upon Bai Yanbei, this time his spear coming directly down on the beast.
Bai Yanbei filled his body with Qi, at the same time swinging his claw at Pearl. An illusory golden claw appeared around his actual claw as power filled him.
The spear met the claw, and Pearl was pushed back.
