Entering the room where the Ancestral Bloodline pool was located was as simple as standing atop the formation before the small building and being teleported to a room inside.
The two beasts Alex had come in with showed a look of surprise at the massive interior. What looked to them to be tiny on the outside instead housed a spacious room that was larger than any hall they had ever seen.
Towering obsidian crystals rose on each side, forming the wall of this building. Black marble covered the ground above which they stood. Alex was indeed standing, as this was one of the few places inside the Black Tortoise palace that was always kept without water.
The reason for that was at the end of the hall.
A thick smell of blood permeated the room before Alex could even look at the bloodline pool. It was so thick that Alex wondered if he was breathing in blood mist.
The two beasts slowly approached the pool, and Alex followed them as well.
